So maybe if i switch it back to basic rules and untick the boxes an switch it back it might work -
If you look in the league rules you'll see that it says those reserve teams can't be promoted, That's what I'm trying to get rid of

In the editor load up the real real results file & just change the subs rules & delete the other file

I think it is for steps 1-4 in the pyramid, but I've done it before in older versions. Although upon loading the fm21 editor the layout is a bit different

Editing a English lower league database to allow B teams to be promoted through the pyramid. I've ticked the 2 allow B team promotions in every league & their parent competition. (i.e. vanarama north/south) but when i load the database in game it still says that the B teams aren't eligible for promotion. Anyone got any ideas how to fix this?

All you need to do is run them through the rules tester in the editor to make them compatible

If I want to allow B Teams to be promoted do I have to enable at the parent competition like in the image or in every individual league?
