Thanks, appreciate the feedback. I'll check out the video. Funnily enough, the people that regularly take my set pieces (even though I don't individually train them on set pieces) don't seem to drop as significantly as my other players that don't typically take set pieces.

Oh, wow, so if it only affects the players set to individually practice set pieces it almost seems like a waste of a session for the rest of the squad. That's daft if that is indeed the case. Yes, that player is a deep lying playmaker who doesn't practice set pieces. I was under the impression that running the set piece training would benefit the whole squad. I guess it wouldn't be such a big deal but I don't like seeing so many players with such a decline in set pieces.

Sorry can you clarify what you mean? I understand set piece training to be the players practising free kicks, corners, etc. Are you saying running this training will hurt these attributes?

Am I doing something wrong? Quite a few players in my team have rapidly declining set piece attributes. I am a full time club and run one set piece training session per week. My set piece coach has a rating of 13. I have good training facilities.

The club retains its semi pro status though, so your explanation doesn't make sense. Also, the third division is available to be selected its just not playable, unless the team you are managing gets relegated to it AFAIK. Also, I simulated another season till they got promoted again and their ticket prices were way too low.

I've discovered a bug, and it's a bit of a game breaking one. Not even sure if the bug is anything to do with this Norway Lower Leagues file either. The prices of tickets and season tickets for many teams below the Post-Nord divisions have all dropped to £0 or £1. Likewise the season ticket prices have dropped too. I'm not sure what's happened, it could be a game bug tbh, but it's pretty much killed my save game i think. I'm managing Alta. They got relegated from Post Nord to div below. I took over about half way through the season as they were looking at relegation. I noted then that their ticket price has dropped quite a bit from the season before, it was at about £8 when I took over which seems normal for relegation i guess. Got to the end of the season and finished mid table. And sometime in November or so the ticket price changed from £8 to £1. It's not just my team either, others are affected too. Frigg, same div as me, now give their tickets away for free Lol. EDIT - Just to confirm, I loaded a save game where I didn't use this editor file and the bug is still there. Teams in this tier all have their ticket prices at like £1 or so. Man, how does this kind of bug even get past QA.

I assumed this was a bug. Is there official confirmation from SI as to why they've been removed? Fining players for under performance etc was something I used to do fairly often. It also helped increase work rate and determination.

Interesting, I'll have to check that. I could've sworn I saw at least some players have a reaction until the 15th minute. However, I might be thinking of FM23. I'll be sure to check this next match I play.

Has anyone figured out a way to stop the AI with their attacking throw in routine where they always cross it to the far post and win the header and score? For some reason it always seems to be a big striker/winger against my left defender who has 5 for jumping and 6 for bravery and 6 for heading. You can imagine what happens almost every time this sequence plays out, and i dread it happening. Sometimes I get unfortunate and they score two goals in a game via this method. Despite my best efforts, I cannot seem to make a centre back or tall player take up this position. the only option seems to be buying a giant left back to counter this scripted scenario.

I was also experiencing quite a lot of goals in my save with Alta IF in Norway's lower tier (3rd div) of football. One game that i won 2-7 sticks out as I was away from home and the goals kept piling in. I decided to start a new save with the same team when the first patch came out, and changed the way I was playing the game a little bit. I changed my formation for something more sturdy at the back (5-2-2-1) and for every match preparation I always picked the out of possession phase (defending), along with defending corners and throw ins. The result? The goals dried up for me and my opponent. I made a few signings before the season started so my attack force are still gaining cohesion, but my defence is solid as a rock now. Unless I'm playing a significantly better team in the cup, sides in my current division just can't break my defence down and they hardly have any shots as my defenders and midfielders clean up before they can get create any clear cut chances.

Thanks for doing this again. I only really want 1 or 2 divisions lower than you can actually select in game so this is perfect.

Yes I had the same problem. Bizarrely I managed to do it months ago using your file, however now I cannot figure it out. However, as you point out I could use the in-game editor to change the Europa league so I guess that will do. Thanks.

How do you get to the fixture rules screen? I can't find it but I know I did it before using your file.

Glad to hear that. Quick question, can you remind me how to adjust the max no of subs for say the Europa league? I just had a look at the your editor file and I can't remember how I did it previously lol.

Yes it's great, have a lot of fun managing Lyn with this editor file. I restarted a few times due to issues you saw earlier in the thread. To be honest I'm now waiting for FM24 and will start again. Hopefully @XaWwill be updating this for FM24 shortly after release.
