We nearly survived our first season at this level. It's no surprise that the quality of the teams is way better than the leagues below. Some very good teams are in this league, like Orobro SK, IFK Varnemo, Varbergs BoIS and Helsingborgs IF. Our squad is by far the weakest in the league, so I'm very happy that we managed to survive. We had to play relegation-playoff against Gefle IF. We lost the first match (0-1), but won the second match (4-1), so we'll play another season at the second division of Sweden. With this league finish, we earned almost € 700k! So we finally could upgrade some of our facilities for the first time. Youth intake The preview was terrible, as I posted before. The intake gave us lots of Elite Talents, but a quick look at their profiles doesn't give me any hope for a future star. Hopefully some of them will surprise me! Best players this season: GK. Edvard Setterberg DR. Jonathan Larsson MC. Gentrit Çitaku AML. Khaled Qasem Best Academy players this season: Tim Ström 23b Giannis Chryssajis 22a Mattias Larsén 22b Oliver Berg 24b Next season will be more of the same. Hopefully we will survive another season, because the price money is very welcome. Let's hope we can upgrade our facilities a bit more, so that our intakes will be better in the near future.

IK Sleipner Season 2024 (season 3) Ettan Fotboll Division 1 Norra (1st) League table | Finances | Facilities | Transfers |Youth intake| Club overview | Manager Profile What a season! We managed to win the league, so next season we will play on the 2nd level of Sweden: Superettan!! Hopefully we will earn some money there. Our balance is negative, although only just a bit. But we still can't upgrade our facilities, so hopefully after next season! Best players this season were Jonathan Larsson, Edvard Setterberg, Oliver Blomdahl and Gentrit Çitaku. Best youth players were Giannis Chryssajis 22a and Mattias Larsén 22b. Youth intake The preview was okay: 2 A's, but also a lot of E's. So I wasn't expecting fireworks. Well, the intake was better then expected. Lots of Elite Talents! Hopefully some of them will develop into good players for us.

And what about the registration rules? I also really like managing in Norway, had good fun with Stabaek in a ‘normal’ save. But what I dislike is a squad of max 25 players, including youth players. I don’t mind a squad of 25 players, but I want to have the possibility to play with U19 players, without registrate them first…

We nearly qualified for promotion playoffs, but it wasn't enough. I'm very happy with this season though. Let's hope we can continue our current form, and gain promotion next season! Best players were DR Jonathan Larsson, DL Oliver Blomdahl, DC Calle Svensson, MC Gentrit Çitaku, MC William Lundell and AML Vetle Larsén. Best youth player this season was Giannis Chryssajis 22a, who played 26 games as DMC. Also Mattias Larsén 22b had a good first season for us, scoring 5 goals this season. Calle Svensson is retiring at the end of this season. In the last game of the season he scored the winning goal for us. What a way to end your career! Vetle Larsén is probably our best player, but he's not willing to sign a new deal. I really hope that he will change his mind, otherwise he will leave the club on a free next month. Youth intake The youth intake was a good one. As posted before, this was the preview: And this the actual intake: I'll promote Ström 23e and Eklund 23e to our first team, to replace Svensson and Larsén.

IK Sleipner Youth intake preview 2023 It looks like a decent preview. I really need some defenders, as my current two DC's are a bit old (31y and 36y), while I've only got one back-up DC(from 2022 intake). So sometimes my back-up DR needs to play as DC. Let's hope that these two centre-backs from this preview are talented!

IK Sleipner Season 2022 (season 1) Division 2 Södra Svealand (1st) League table | Finances | Facilities | Transfers |Youth intake| Club overview I'll had some fun on Iceland, but I wanted a different environment. I never did a youth only challenge in Sweden, allthough I had a youth only save with IF Brommapojkarna. I really liked it, and felt this was the right time to start this save in Sweden. I holidayed until season 2022 started, and chose IK Sleipner out of the promoted clubs. They have won the Allsvenskan back in 1938, so it's a club with a history. I already completed the first season, and had a wonderful season! We won the league on the final day, so we are promoted to the Ettan Fotboll Division 1 Norra(3rd level)! Best players this season were striker Albert Johansson and goalkeeper Edvard Setterberg, who scored 4 goals this season out of Free Kicks. We even managed to upgrade our Junior Coacing budget. Youth intake Well, you can't expect any fireworks with such basic facilities. The preview gave us 2 A's: And the intake gave us 3 Elite talents, but it's difficult to say anything about their potential. These four talents will go directly to our first squad, just to add some depth.

And what a season it was! We fought for the title for a long time, but in the end it was not enough. We finished 2nd, while IBV won the title. But I'm over the moon with this second place, because I never thought it would be possible with my current squad. And we qualified for the Conference League!! So hopefully we will earn some money. In the Cup we reached the Fourth Round, where we lost against ÍA, the later winner of the Cup. And in the League Cup we lost in the Semi-final against Breiðablik. Best players this season were good old midfielder Eyjólfur Héðinsson, defender Hrafn Hallgrímsson, striker Pétur Hrafn Friðriksson and second striker Marteinn Helgason 22b. I promoted Helgason 22b to the first team, together with 4 others. Helgason 22b is the only Academy player who became a reguler starter this season. Our U-19 team has won their league and promoted to the highest youth league on Iceland. And last but not least: we were able to upgrade our junior coaching and youth recruitment once more, so both are now Excellent.

Íþróttafélag Reykjavíkur Youth intake 2023 The preview was okay, with 4 A's: Let's see what the actual intake was: Look at this! No less then 10 Elite talents And some really nice prospects here. Some nice looking strikers, a midfielder who looks like a great talent, a central defender and a leftback: very happy with them. Let's hope they will develop into good players for us.

It's nice to be back at this club. Very familiar, because I'll do an ÍR-save yearly. And the season went better then expected! We fought for the title until the last day. But Fjolnir didn't lost their last match, so we finished 2nd. Which is also very good, because that'll mean promotion to the highest league! We could have won the league easily if we didn't draw so many games. In the Cup we lost in the Fourth Round against Breiðablik. Best player of our squad is, by far, Eyjólfur Héðinsson. He's old, but still very useful for us. Other good players this season were Pétur Hrafn Friðriksson, Hrafn Hallgrímsson and Hákon Dagur Matthíasson. The youth intake was a good one. We managed to sign a Model Professional HoYD and he came with this preview & intake: There are some very decent talents in this first intake, some of them will go directly to our first team next season.

Well, here we go again. I couldn't find joy in my IJsselmeervogels-save. And that's not the first time in Holland.... I think it's the big difference in quality between my team and almost all the other teams. So I started a new save, and I went back to an old love: Íþróttafélag Reykjavíkur (IR) from Iceland. It's my intension to stay at IR until FM23 will come out. So let's see if we can win the Champions League (again) with IR!

Yes, that was exactly the problem: FM crashed, all the time. In all of my saves. And after the crash I couldn’t load the file anymore. Since I deleted the app and the pictures, I didn’t have a problem anymore. So it has something to do with this app. Don’t know what exactly. Maybe I’ll try it again because I really like those Newgan pictures. And it’s the first time that I have issues. In FM21 and until last month everything worked fine. But for now, I’ll stop using the app.
