FC Energie Cottbus 2029/30 Season Review
League Table Facilities Finances
Summary
My start to the league campain was pretty poor, with 1 win and 4 losses in 5 games, but through the season I managed to improve my form and hang in there with the top 3. Thanks to some brilliant form at the back end of the season getting 29 points from a possible 36 I finished 2nd avoiding the playoffs and getting automatically promoted to the Bundesliga. The DFB Pokal was pretty uneventful, getting knocked out in the 3rd round by Bundesliga opposition for the 3rd year running. Facilities are continually being upgraded and thanks to the promotion money won't be too much of an issue.
Youth Intake
My youth intake this year was kinda dissappointing bar a few prospects, mainly a 5 star potential striker that is sorely needed in the squad.

Midfielders however score at will from 30 yards out.
I want to carry on my save but it's so annoying when my tactics are playing the ball in over the top on the counter to my quick strikers, who always make good runs (they are suited to this style) but for some reason the match engine only allows them to score about 2% of 1v1s. Infuriating!
It really is ruining it for me, this is the most frustrated ive ever been playing fm

Im not sure if i am doing anything wrong but my top youngsters keep getting poached despite signing them to pro contracts.
Is it because they arent old enough for the pro deal yet so they can still be poached? I dont get it

I sometimes get annoyed when people don't read the damn rules for the Ultimate Challenge, but I think I have been guilty of not reading the damn rules regarding this.
You can loan out players just can't loan players in as far as i know

when i get the youth intake email it is from my u19s manager and he talks about how he was responsible for certain players and that he ifluenced a few of their personalities

End of the 3rd season and im back in the 3rd division. Despite this Bayern Munich want me apparently haha

Anyone know how to change who is responsible for youth intakes, atm ion my save it seems my u19s manager is despite having a really good hoyd

I have had 3 youth intakes in my save and all 3 times instead of my hoyd sending the youth intake email and saying that he had influenced certain players etc it was my u19s manager. Is this a bug or cn i change it somehow?

One frustrating thing about germany is that you can register under 17s...
got this guy from my youth intake and hes getting bids of over a million from bundesliga clubs but i cant play him til next season...

League Table Youth Intake Finances Facilities
Had an unbelievable first season managing to clinch promotion the Bundesliga 2 despite being predicted to be relegated. Mainly thanks to this man Dimitar Rangelov scoring 28 goals. Had a decent youth intake bolstering my youth squad, a lot of players with good potential getting close to breaking out into the first team to replace ageing players in the squad. The finances are terrible and thus i've been unable to upgrade any facilities, despite that the board have decided they are going to build a new stadium as they are paying too much for ground maintenance.

Starting my adventures with FC Energie Cottbus
Their name and badge arent anything to phone home about but the facilities are great for this level and there are 40+ players at the club

@schnauzerit wasnt exactly spectacular last year either but anythings better than what iot is currently i guess

@schnauzer yeah mate same here, getting a comfortable 100fps but the game looks like it is missing 1/2 of the frames

I've noticed the FPS in the ME is tied to the refresh rate of my monitor. Is there any way to increase the max fps or am i outta luck?

It was annoying at the start because what I was getting in my intakes was already good enough to be in the squad, but after a season or 2 it didn't really bother me
