UAE wouldn't have some of the issues Qatar have. Morocco or an actual football country would be a further step forward, but no oil money so no go.

Qatar essentially lied and said yes then no two days out. In other Arabic countries (e.g. Egypt, Morocco etc) this wouldn't be a concern.

Always the plan. Wish Egypt or Morocco had been given the middle east world cup. Wonderful football mad countries, but no oil money.

I'm into the second episode, recommended viewing. Its interesting to think how different FIFA could have been had Johansson won election instead of Blatter (who essentially used bribary of an African world cup).
