I'm not having that. It was completely unrealistic! I've just played a game & lost 9-0! What a joke! The ME is just so crap! I know I got a man sent off, but that's an effing joke!

Just watching the new FM20 on twitch feed. It does look good. However, I'd rather it was played and presented by two objectionable grizzled gamers rather than two obsequious studenty sycophants...
...Miles has returned and I literally just heard him threaten one of them with their job because he didn't like something he said! Wow. Bully.

Really happy to hear about the 'new'/old feature of letting managers have photographs for their profile picture rather than the frankenregen effigie that we have had to endure for the last 3 years.
Why did we have do endure it? Somebody please explain...
About bloody time we can bring our normal faces back to our management profiles.
It was an an absolute joke...

The 'leader boards' are quite frankly pointless & baffling and add nothing to the enjoyment of the game at all.
They are filled with people who obviously cheat. I've gone through a season unbeaten with a team and still ended up inexplicably 1356th!
Who cares if 'Kenny57' or 'Mogwi' get above me on a useless table? I don't.

If I remember correctly, you can also choose to follow a team via their home or squad screen by ticking a box near the right corner.

Only the host can use the in-game editor during network play if it is enabled. Otherwise it would be carnage!

Not sure with FM20 mate as they haven't announced anything about it, but going on the last 2 versions, it was possible to play a network game with the beta whereas previous years it wasn't.
So I'm going to stick my neck out and say you probably can.

For a few versions now, there has always been an alarming drop in attributes for players over 30 which is totally out of contrast with real life IMO.

I'm pleased that we have finally got a release date. The fact that it's later than previous years is a bit worrying, especially with the lack of match engine videos. But I'm sure they know what they're doing...
I personally feel that SI need to have a 'break' for a year or two and, instead of churning out a new game every November, release a season update and ME tweak. Then when they have done that, they will have longer to concentrate on bringing out a more polished title that they can release in time for next season's start date, and not an annual one that consists of a few minor upgrades and a ropey ME.

Tomori definitely needs an upgrade. At best he was a good championship defender in FM19.
I've also never been a huge fan of Ryan Sessegnon and Jaydon Sanchos stats in the last couple of games. They just look undervalued at first glance for a pair of wonderkids.

Fingers crossed, I can import my shortlist from FM19 to FM20 without any hassle as it will save me from a massive headache!
But going on recent times, I won't hold my breath...

I'm not on Twitter. I just Google it to check if there's any news on fm20. Couldn't give a flying fig what cornflakes he eats.
I pre-order because I'm an fm junky. Have been since the old Amiga days.
I was going off historical times for betas and game releases. It's been the same for years so I see no reason it will differ.
And I'm chilled out. Had a pint & 2 cans of beer already.

2 weeks to the beta and no videos of the match engine and no mention of training or transfers.
Not to mention no release date. Wow. Make no wonder people get angry and fill these threads with vitriol.
If we are expected to pay the best part of forty quid to pre-order a product then I think we deserve more than 'better staff interaction' & a couple of extra achievements (That quite frankly, nobody gives a toss about).
Sick of checking out Miles' thread & hearing about his charity booze ups & votes on minor cosmetic changes to the game.
Give us some proper news!

I've been playing FM19 for a while now so I can say this categorically. Too many goals scored from longshots, not enough goals scored by strikers unless you download a tactic that manipulates the ME. Trying to sell players is just a complete lottery. Sometimes yes, most times no.

It's now 3 weeks before the release of the game, yet we have had no mention of the crucial issues that dog these threads.
No mention of Match Engine or AI concerning transfers. It's an issue SI. We've had some snippets of screen shots and some random mention of a few added extras that, let's face it, are rule changes rather than features.
The headline stuff is hardly ground breaking. I've preordered. Because I'm an fm junky. But to snare the casual or newbie, the hype and media has been rubbish.
We have Miles chucking us a picked clean bone of info and making us work for it on Twitter.
It's really no suprise that there is so much negativity on these threads pregame release, because of the lack of information.
I think if we are expected to fork out the best part of thirty quid, we deserve more than better coloured faces on our management profile as a new feature.

Tbh, I would be more happier if the would give us a beta release date and full release date instead of all these mediocre features! Some of us need to sort out holidays and child care!

What's his fitness rating? Plus stamina & work rate?
Maybe set his training to low rather than normal and set it to work on these attributes.

Totally agree with you. It really annoys me that during a match I'll shout some sort of encouragement and players 'look switched off'. Especially subs who you would think would be trying their best to impress.

Lyon are my early favourite. Lots of good young French prospects.
Either that or try get Bradford City back up the leagues where they belong.
