BPD’s look to play risky passes, so removing the POOD option will encourage that more. I usually have 1 BPD in my tactics with POOD on and even then, the amount of times he play passes to no-one upfield is unreal. I wish SI would either change the name of the role or remove the risky pass trait. PS - I get BPD’s do make risky passes but they don’t do it all the time or as much as it happens in FM

The OP says he wants his striker to stay central, which is what static is. If he did that, he’d have a lot more issues than having his striker move into channels. To create space, you need movement, both IRL and in game and working the channels does exactly that.

I don’t think it’s an unrealistic transfer by FM standards, Serbia is a decent rating league rep wise.

The interaction with players is a bit weird lol. GK asked for more playtime and there was 3 games to go before the Serbian winter break, played him in the 3 games but still failed the promise lol

If a striker was static (especially an AF), they wouldn’t score much. An AF is by far the best role for a striker but you need to have creativity around him. MIC is an annoying instruction but as has been mentioned, most strikers IRL do that.

Does hia stats still look ok and what year are you in? I’m managing in Serbia and Dani Ceballos signed for Mladost in January of season 3 for very very little wages (he does look terrible though from what I could see, didn’t fully scout him)

Can’t say I’ve ever seen it that much in advance. Normally it’s in the last year at most, normally before the last 6 months but rarely afterwards. Lol they do need to fix it, I’m sure that’s not a realistic thing, it seems to happen with all players.

I’ve actually had a fair bit on luck so far with this but you’re not able to get a new contact signed until like the last 6 weeks or so before it would expire. I was managing in Denmark right enough, so not sure how it would be in a bigger league.

Don’t have any screenshots but Lovik (can play left and right back for sure and both footed) and Bakke are solid players from Molde. I’ve got Lovik on loan and had Bakke last season on my Velje save. Thomas Gundeland from Velje has really good stats and plenty of potential but has been inconsistent, he’s a right back. Aldulazeez from Mjallby is a decent striker, very good pace and strength and has scored 6 in his first 2 games lol. Johannesson left for Chelsea for up to £35 mil in Feb 2024 and Schjelderup went to Bayern for a decent sum but nowhere near what it should have been at the start of season 2.
