But it's not uncommon. Vinicious Junior signed for R. Madrid before being 18yo and the same for Hugo Cuenca to Milan, for example.

Also apparently applies to transfer that would happen in January  so only a few months apart (less than a year anyway)  or with player that are already 17 years old.

If you have examples of no interest with less than a year where you would expect the player's to be interested please upload a save and we can review.

    Thanks,
    Dan

unless Im blind, there doesn't seem to be an option for length of an assignment. If you mean select ongoing that reduces the amount of players I get recommended according to the game.

The 'Ongoing' priority should cover this. It doesn't impact the amount of players recommended, but means the focus will take longer and continue to run, meaning players your scouts didn't find right away may be found a second or third time around.

Hi Dan - for clarity what is specifically impacted by the issue? Is it believed that requested wages are inflated across the board for non-league players, or just specific one-off incidents?

I have a save underway in the national league so just want to sense check before progressing further.

National league and below players wage demands were slightly inflated generally and is something we are reviewing to get the balance right.

    Thanks,
    Dan

There's definitely some kind of problem with what wages players expect (in England at least, haven't noticed it on a save in Indonesia) as even in the National League, players are asking for unrealistically high wages.

Offering Jordan Slew a new contract with Halifax results in him wanting an extra £2k a week (ridiculous considering he's on £700) and even trying to sign very low CA players like Jerome Binnom-Williams results in them asking for figures of around £1.5k a week.

That's a separate issue and one we are aware of.

    Thanks,

This bug seems to still be an issue in my save even though in the winter update it claims to be fixed?

    Hi @Achiress

Sorry for the confusion here. Players already out on loan with this issue will unfortunately not be resolved. Any newly extended loans in this update will work though.

If you find you still encounter this issue with new loan deals in this update please let us know.

    Thanks,
    Dan

  6. Hi @duff33

I am fairly sure that is correct but if you upload a save we can always double check.
Liverpool had a similar issue in real life with Harvey Elliott
    https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/liverpool-champions-league-squad-elliott-21454373
"UEFA rules state that an of age player can be registered on ‘List B’ if he; “has been eligible to play for the club concerned for any uninterrupted period of two years since his 15th birthday by the time he is registered with UEFA, or a total of three consecutive years with a maximum of one loan period to a club from the same association for a period not longer than one year.”

Joining Liverpool from Fulham when 16 years old in July 2019, Elliott ’s season on loan at Blackburn Rovers last season means he has not enjoyed an uninterrupted two-year period at Anfield, though he will be eligible to be registered as a ‘List B’ player next season in line with UEFA rules."

That makes sense and I understand why a player might not want to join. I guess the issue has more to do with the UI and how its presented to the player. Some players are just straight up not interested in joining so you get the red box when you try and negotiate. However in certain situations like this he acts like he is but he wont join no matter what contract you give him (star player, multiple promises). This could be very frustrating for less experienced players.

    Hi @Urbz

If you have a specific example where "he wont join no matter what contract you give him (star player, multiple promises)" please can you upload the save (and let us know which players to use to reproduce it) ?
There should always a be a combination of promises that can see you progress in to contract negotiations if the agent has sufficient interest to enter talks in the first place.
Its worth mentioning that some promises can have a negative impact so simply adding in all the promises isn't a valid strategy!

    Cheers,
    Dan

  8. Hi @SidT07,

Looking at the video, the agent is prompting you to offer promises that will convince his client to enter talks.

Without a save I can't say for sure but likely wanting promises linked to future club objectives (winning the league), big pay rises, playing in preferred role and/or strengthening the squad.
