  1. Anything about this at all? Is the second formation working as intended or should it be used more often than it's now?
  2. Yeah, if i select a bunch of players and i click scout on all they scout them... Focuses are bugged IMO
  3. When i leave my chief scout to do the focuses i get results, but he's not doing the focuses i want. And the ones i made myself remain empty...
  4. Dunno man... scouting is bugged for me this year.. Im setting it up exactly like you did it here just that it's only for one nation and i get no hits.. And they're not even scouting anyone. And i have the league loaded, so that's not the issue...

To nerf gegenpress I would just increase the fatigue level of players with stamina under a certain number, lets say 15.Basically make a leap from 14 to 15 so that players under 15 tire quicker and cant run as efficient anymore... Something drastic so if you play gegenpress with Sheff Utd for example you get battered after a certain minute
  6. That's what i would like to see in FM more... Managers using formations that fit their players not using just one formation all the time. For example if they have many injuries in their squad and they don't have wingers for example, they would use a wingerless formation etc... In a management Sim, that should have already been the case if you ask me... Yes, managers should have preferred formations, but that doesn't meen that they should use them religiously like no other formations exist, they should have access to all in-game formations...
  7. Talking about high scoring games, it's funny that IRL we had a 5-9 in the Czech league and a 14-0 at international level. So yeah, those should happen but much lower than it is right now. I think FM 23 was closer to IRL than FM 24 at GPG and conversion rates.
  8. Yeah the conversion rates is what is turning me off. I see too often results like 6-3, 4-4, 5-5 or trashings like 8-0, 9-0. Not saying those shouldn't happen but the frequency should be much lower than it is right now. Also too many draws like 2-2, 3-3 instead of 0-0 or 1-1.
  9. What team talks resetting? Meaning that team talks are useless? Is that really happening because it's a big issue if it does..
  10. It's a good game but needs a bit more polish to be the best FM in the series. The best thing i find so far in FM24 is the processing speed, faster than FM23. I played a bit 23 last week but feels sluggish compared to 24.
  11. I agree with you.. They could have taken their time with the ME but with the subs issue, especially since AI management was a top headline feature, this should have been fixed already.
  12. Yeah... the most polished FM statement was just marketing. Maybe it will be after the first real update.
  13. Seeing how many things needs fixing, no wonder it takes so long for that update. I doubt 1 month is enough time for them to fix some of the issues...
  14. Cant wait for the patch that fixes these kind of results. Goalkeepers might as not show up at the game... Hopefully we get good news this coming week.
  15. Goalkeepers reaction to shots from outside the area needs to be improved. Right now it feels like they have a hole in their body. The balls goes either through them or next to them. One of the reason the results get inflated is because of this.
  16. I remember the FM19 public betas, i think that was the one when strikers 1v1 were completely broken. There was a lot of testing done and lots of feedback provided. Don't know why they stopped doing for the next games, they must have a reason.
  17. I've been playing 23 last 3-4 days and wow, it's so slow compared to FM 24. They did a good job in speeding up FM 24. I think it uses the cores more efficiently now. With the ME update that hopefully fixes the ME woes we've been having it could be the best in the series.
  18. SI please add these formations in the editor to be selectable for AI managers, 4-1-4-1 DM and 4-4-1-1 DM and 4-4-2 DM. They are so common it's a pity the AI is unable to use them in FM24 , mostly AI using the roles in the MR/ML position ( wide playmaker and defensive winger )...
  19. Yeah... number of woodwork hits, corners and goals is a notch or two higher than in FM 23. I enjoyed FM24 for 2 or 3 weeks but now it's time to get to FM23 to get my Real life stats fix ... lol.
  20. Maybe it's because IRL teams don't use ultraattacking 4-2-3-1 ( 2-3-5 ) formations all the time, 90 minutes per game
  21. Yeah, i think the passing accuracy is tied to the fact that the defenders are not closed down enough. There is not enough pressure put on them to miss the passes
  22. This is all wrong, The 2 DM's are way too low on the defensive line. And the AM should engage the player on the ball. Frankly the striker should also be more involved , no matter the role he should not just hang there like the ball is out of play...
  23. Been saying this from the BETA that some of the AI's 4-4-2's is insanity. Leaving absolutely nobody in midfield which is basically a 4-0-6. Probably the roles they use for the midfield duo are too attacking, that's why i am ASKING SI to revert the formation to 4-4-2 DM. So the AI can actually defend in that formation
  24. After playing FM 23 the last day i noticed what's missing a bit from FM24 defensively. Last ditch tackles from defenders, blocked shots, Goalkeepers reflexes seem a bit better on long shots than FM24...
  25. By the way, i changed Guardiolas pref formation to 4-2-3-1 in the editor, i ran a one season test and City scored 120 goals lol. I never seen AI reach so high numbers in any FM. It would be nice if freak seasons like this will pe also possible in the next ME update
