Here in Wales where Rugby is very much a working class game, all rugby and football has been cancelled. The final friendly games in the Pro game have been cancelled ahead of the URC starting next week. All amateur rugby and football has been cancelled/postponed tomorrow with the WRU & FAW both deciding to do it as a mark of respect. Was looking forward to going to see my local side tomorrow too as I missed last week's game due to the Wrestling. Kids rugby can go ahead though, not seen anything on kids football yet.

They did proper analysis for the Arsenal game but that was in the studio. All of them were in black for it. Also think the announcement came while they were playing and it was an away game anyway. It was Darke & Savage on Comms. Savage barely said anything at all. I think, they'd planned to have the coverage of the game from Old Trafford either pitchside or the box, but this then threw that through a loop. So they just went with how they went. @themadsheep2001 will probably be able to explain better what actually happened and maybe give an insight if he's allowed to.

And while it's probable, it's in a very different time to when Charles was made Prince of Wales. I can't see us happily accepting an investiture in the same way as went before for Charles.

As Rafa said, It's in the Kings gift to make his first born son Prince of Wales. It is probably going to happen, but it's not guaranteed.

As an aside on this one, I meant to say earlier..... The food van around the corner from me does fantastic breakfast rolls/baps/Insert local phrase here. The Sausage & Bacon rolls are absolutely perfect. I rarely go there as I can't really go on my WFH days, because it's just far enough away that it's a pain to just "pop to" during my work day. I only go on Saturdays or when I am off in the week. I've often really really craved one too. However, I went there last week during my week off and discovered they've now gone onto Just Eat. Not only that, but they've only been on a month or two and they're already seeing £300 a week upturn in their takings. The last time i spoke to him he was concerned he'd have to cut back his days or maybe even close completely as he's just not seen the traffic he used to see any more. I haven't ordered via Just Eat yet, but absolutely will soon, Was going to do it tomorrow, but have to go into the office to support somebody now. But yes, I am rather happy with that.

Yeah, this thread, on a largely British forum is clearly the wrong place for that kind of sentiment. There'll be other places where you can go to air those views and if you wish to, that's where you should head at times like this really.

You don't know the woman's history. You do not know her families history. If you disagree with her, just move on. It's that easy. What happened under the guise of empire was abhorrent and many people suffered. There's plenty of people on twitter I can see that do not hold the same reverence as we would. They're allowed to view her in that light. That doesn't mean that you or I have to view the Queen differently.
