  1. Season 45 - 2068/69 - SBL1 Off the ptich another takeover from former director and accepted Youth Level increase On the pitch Another play off finish, finishing 5th We beat Port Vale 1-0 on aggregate in the Semi Finals And another tight game in the Final, beating Exeter 1-0. Championship football next season! Darragh Butler who has been brilliant for us, wouldn't sign a new contract and has left to join Cardiff on a free History below, double figures in goals or assists every season from midfield
  2. Season 44 - 2067/68 - SBL1 Now getting youth players poached from PL clubs, frustrating but must be a good sign Started really well in the league but form dropped off and ended up missing out on the playoffs
  3. Season 43 - 2066/67 - SBL1 We improved youth facilities at the end of the season Our first season in SBL1 and we had a great season We were top going into the New Year But the form dropped off, had a really poor January But we managed to still finished 3rd We won the Play Offs Semi Final But unfortunately lost to Forest Green in the Final 0-1
  4. Got some really decent players now, with potential of them being Championship Yann Kone, Richie Gillard and Darragh Butler my best players with highest potential
  5. Season 42 - 2065/66 - SBL2 We have drawn Man Utd in the 4th Round of the FA Cup And managed to draw 3-3 for a replay at Old Trafford and we nearly FM'd them Losing in ET Nice chunk of cash though In the league, we managed to finish 4th and into the playoffs again Our form was very good going into the playoffs, only losing 2 of the last 12 games We took that form into the playoffs beating Dorking in the Semi Finals and Accrington in the Final Into League One we go............... Won Manager of the Season and had three players in Team of the Season
  6. Season 41 - 2064/65 - SBL2 Another takeover at the end of the season The new stadium is built ready for next season On the pitch, a poor season and didn't move on from the 4th place finish last season and finished a disappointing 17th Improved Youth Facilities
  7. Season 40 - 2063/64 - SBL2 Sold another 50% clause for £2.15m Not a bad first season in the Football League Finishing 4th Unfortunately or form going into the Play Offs was poor, so no surprise to see us lose in the Semi Finals to Mansfield
  8. Season 39 - 2062/63 - VNL So the professional status had a huge impact and we came 2nd, missing out by one point! We were top for months and months and failed to win any of the last 3 games to be knocked off top spot Into the playoffs we go though And we win both games 2-1! We are in the actual football league.......................... Board built a new stadium, named after Troy Murray who was at the club when we first took over
  9. Season 38 - 2061/62 - VNL Right at the end of the season, we turned professional, which has to be great news so we can train more. We were professional 30 years ago when we had that takeover Couple of transfer updates Sold the 50% clause of Pearce Slowe for £1.88m Sold my keeper to PL Everton (we are in VNL remember) for £350k. Wouldn't sign a new contract so cashed in Back to the league form Slightly better but only a midtable finish
  10. Ah! Fair enough Didn't complete it in FM23 or FM 22 Hoping to do it in FM24
  11. Cheers, appreciate that, loads more updates to come
  12. Yes agree getting out of non league is toughest If you can do that then you can progress
  13. Legend @DazRTaylor However, does make me wonder why I am so bad? I see so many complete this challenge and even taking the **** by doing it over different continents............. I've done this challenge since FM20 and only I takes decades to get anywhere? Why is that? Am I so bad at the game? My underlying feeling is reality, taking a VNLS/N teams to PL and CL glory is going to take decades IRL! I love the story...................................................................
  14. Season 37 - 2060/61 - VNL A poor season that we spent in the bottom 6/8 pretty much all season Nothing else to report, just poor
  15. Season 36 - 2059/60 - VNL A little better season and a mid-table finish Our record scorer for the club retired, Baden Hanifan, 244 goals in 630 games
  16. Season 35 - 2058/59 - VNL A really poor season, really poor Go from playoffs to just beating the drop The lose of the two better players really hurt Board improve training facilities
  17. Season 34 - 2057/58 - VNL First season back in VNL And not a bad season at all, finishing in the playoffs, 4th We lost in the play offs Semi Finals Our best player Daniel Finn, wouldn't sign a new contract and left for Wigan on free. Now worth £2.3m - £4.5m! Also had to sell Kevin Chambers who wouldn't sign a new contract. He was top scorer last three seasons. Got 50% sell on
  18. Season 33 - 2056/57 - VNLS For the first time ever, we have got to the FA Cup 3rd And we got the bumper tie we want to get some decent cash in Man City away, will get hammered but the money will be useful Used the near £1m we got for the Cup tie to improve training facilties Another takeover Back to the league and we have gone won the league, on goal difference in our favour this time
  19. Season 32 - 2055/56 - VNLS Absolutely dreadful season Didn't even finish in the playoffs and ended up 9th We were actually under pressure with the board when bottom of the league in the first few weeks
  20. Season 31 - 2054/55 - VNLS Another play off finish, 4th and Another play off Semi Final loss Finances in good place Improved training facilities
  21. Season 30 - 2053/54 - VNLS First season back in VNLS And a massive disappointment! Was really hoping to great straight back up but ended finishing 6th Then lost in the Semi Final of the playoffs Another take over, by a former director
