Season 89 - 2111/12 - PL First season back in the PL. And we have stayed up by one point, the lowest on record to stay up. We were actually doing well, 13th going into March with 10 games to go and then the dreaded run came And we went into the last two games 18th I made a tweek with the tactics with attacking and highest tempo and we beat West Ham 3-0 and drew with Man City 0-0 The last game we needed to beat whatever Maidstone did, they lost 3-0 at Arsenal

Season 88 - 2110/11 - SBC Another play off finish, this time 3rd We were actually 2nd for a lot of the season but a few losses towards the end of the season meant we finished 3rd which was very frustrating, Sunderland in good form in the run in We lost the 1st leg of the Play Off Semi Final 0-1 But turned the 2nd leg around to win 3-1 And we won the FInal! 1-0 vs Ipswich Chris Bull won Young Player of the Year and 2nd in goal of the season (that goal I clipped above) A quick update on Dylan Cox, first season at Madrid Now worth £77m-£114m 22 goals in 45 games And got his first England Senior Cap

Pre season 88 - 2110/11 Unfortunately Dylan Cox the wonderkid wouldn't sign a new contract and wanted to leave on a Bosman Then few of the players started to moan that I should sell him (was going to keep him for one season to get get us promoted) It was fun while it lasted, our first ever wonderkid, gone before turning 20 Had loads of offers, he went to Real Madrid in the end

Season 87 - 2109/10 - SBC Another play off finish and and another play off Semi Final lose This time 0-1 over the two legs with a goal conceded in the 91st minute Overall though, such a frustrating season Scored loads of goals (100) and concede far too many (70) Including 2-7 to Sheff Utd and 1-5 to Derby who were both 24th at the time Shame really as form was decent going into the Play Offs Jake Dover has retired at 35, 605 games, 126 goals and 174 assists

Season 86 - 2108/09 - SBC We managed to turn the form around and move away from the bottom 6 in the table where we were close to getting sacked. We then went on a great run in the final few months of the season, only losing twice in the final 17 games (see the league position history graph as well) We sneaked into the playoffs finishing 5th. You can see a draw and loss the final two league games Just absolutely knew that would cause us to lose the Play Offs and of course we did, typical bottle-job by the lads and the game Intake looked ok, with a few elite talents

We beat Billericay to keep the dreaded sack away for a game or two hopefully

So we are back in trouble in the second season in The Championship Board have called a meeting to tell me to stop picking a player, 17yr Dylan Cox, otherwise they will sack me! I have never come across that I tried to fight it but had no option but to agree to it otherwise I was a gone! Can't say I am overly happy about it........................................ Season 84 - 2107/08 - SBC First season back in the Championship We did well, and sat 2nd pretty much all second half of the season! But then an utter bottle-job by the lads, losing the last two league games means we missed automatic promotion and finished 3rd We beat Birmingham in the Semi Finals Then another Final loss A poor intake

Season 83 - 2106/07 - PL DISASTER! Relegated. Absolutely dire form last three months of the season We looked like we were going to be ok until that happened ONE win in the last 13 games Last game of the season, we needed Portsmouth to lose at Liverpool Of course they won 1-0 We were awful vs Norwich Bought one of my old players, Mohaug who played 404 games for us back as U18s coach

Season 82 - 2105/06 - PL First season back in the Premier League and we have stayed up! Now hoping we can build on this and stay in the PL next season as well. Fahad Al-Mazyadi won Asian Footballer of the Year Stadium extended by 12,803 seats to take the capacity up to 57,067 Great result last game of the season beating Spurs 6-0 away

Season 81 - 2104/05 - SBC After so many playoff defeats, we have only gone and won The Championship, a repeat of 19 years ago We didn't do our usual "bottlejob" in the final weeks of the season Lots of awards, Jake Dover won Player of the Season with 22 goals from central midfield, I won Manager of the Season and we have five players in Team of the season Let's see if we can make a better attempt of the PL this time
