After some advanced rules editing, the CL final wont start - which again results in the next CL season not startin as well

Hi, 

I have modified the champions league format (in advanced rules) to correspond with the format used between 2000-2003. Everything works fine, but for some reason the final won't start - which again results in the next CL season not startin as well.

Please find the editor file attached.

Any help is highly appreaciated! Been working on this for a couple of day without figuring it out myself.

Sounds like it's overrun and not finishing in time? Have you accounted for the extra 4 teams somehow? (36 team group stage into 32)

Everything seems fine up until the final when i simulate the editor data ingame:

1st Group stage = 32 teams
2nd Group stage = 16 teams
Quarter finals = 8 teams
Semi  finals = 4 teams

I think I actually managed to fix it now. I just delete the final and semi finale and added the two stages manually. Looks to be good now.

Still have no idea why it didn't work the first time - I basically did the exact same thing

Maybe the "fate action" was set to send a team to the wrong stage. Are the knockouts in separate stages in the default version? You won't get the cup "tree" IIRC if you set it up that way
