St.Dazzle's 4-5-1 (FMH09)

Recommended Posts

It's true... Putting it on Standby may alter the game (as well as reducing battery life). Try turning it off more often and see if you notice the difference :)

Unfortunately it doesn't make any difference. It crashes at random whether its been in stand-by once, a hundred times or never. Shame as don't like to replay games so have to start new game every time! :(

I have found with this tactic that your striker will score far more goals if he has high heading. I'd even go as far as to say that the heading stat is more important than the shooting stat.

I had a greek striker in my Pistoiese team with 19 for heading and a coach message saying he gets up well for heading and should be supplied with crosses and only between 12 and 14 max for shooting and he scored 69 goals in 3 seasons in Serie A and 89 in all competitions. I even had Benzema for a couple of seasons and he was just nowhere near as good as my big powerful target man.

Tried it again with my belgian league team and found that Sander Post with 19 for heading and 13 for shooting was again by far my most prolific striker even though I had technically better players who couldn't head the ball at all.

Don't know if St Dazzle (or others) have found this but I have played quite a few seasons with this or very similar tactics and i'm fairly sure i'm right.

This tactic is really good thanks mate. I decided to try it cause I was doing bad with middlesbrough and the fans where calling for my resignation so I tried this tactic and won eight in a row after this. The young south african enoh from ajax plays well in the centre midfield role he gets a good amount of goals. Im currently second after 21 games and alves cant stop banging them in either. =)

This tactic definitely doesnt need any tweaking. Its amazing, I won the premiership 5 seasons running with newcastle along with 4 champions cups on the trot and 4 fa cups. Pretty much so good it makes the game pointless though so I am also going to try a 4-4-2 tactic.

Oooh, I'm pretty sure I can do better as Stoke. Maybe you have tweaked too much St Dazzle....

Make sure your striker is outstanding in the air and you will be half way there with this tactic, almost all my goals come from the cf if he is good in the air.

Working on involving the full backs more. Was a very random season as never seen a team outside top four win league first season before. I know its about the striker but like to see how the team does first season with frees and cheap players. ;)

Hey, this is a bad tactic. Result is inconsistent. Do you save and reload the game file when lose the match?

My tactic is definitely better, I'M OUT!

Kaiming you are really starting to wind me up on this forum. You tactic is pretty rubbish and also pretty similar to about 20 others posted here before. St Dazzle's 4-5-1 is really consistent and in my opinion the best so...

Listening to Kaimings opinion.... I'M OUT.

I am Charlton in 08/09 and using st dazzle's 4-5-1 as above, with identical team/player instructions as listed. I am 10th/11th after 26 games or so, about 7pts outside the play-offs (my expectations for the season by the way) and am generally struggling. I can't win away and have already had the ominous board messages giving me the vote of confidence. Does anyone have any other assistance/advice for me please?

Great tactics, tried a few but none worked with my Middlesbrough Team, couldnt score nevermind win. Started a new season with this tactic, got all the free players like Trabelsi, Kallon, Costa, Appiah. Bought a keeper from Liverpool for £2M Charles Itandje and ok only played 5 games but im top and playing well. Alves can actually score goals lol

This is the most consistent tactic you can find for FMH09. Amazingly, i won the EPL with Bolton their 1st season!

Some tips,

The wingers must be able to CROSS the ball well.

The central MC must be able to SHOOT and finish well (goals promised).

The sides MCs must be defending midfielders.

And last of all, as well as being the most important tip of all, the striker must be able to HEAD well (lots of goals promised!)

Well done St.Dazzle!

Just wanted to say this is a very, very succesful tactic. I've just finished my first season with Reading, won the Championship by 9 points with a far superior goal difference, and won the F.A Cup, which was pretty damn good! Beat Liverpool and Utd on my way to the final where i won 2-1 against Man City.

My overall career stats with this tactic so far are

Games Played: 57

Won: 45 - 78.9%

Drawn: 6 - 10.5%

Lost: 6 - 10.5%

Scored: 108 - 1.89 p/m

Conceded: 23 - 0.40 p/m

Honours: Championship, F.A Cup

So all in all a quality tactic, the true test will be the Prem of course, but i've already beaten top teams, and with a few players coming on bosmans and another signing or two, should be ale to establish them as a Premiership team.

Good Stuff!

Who do you guys suggest for a striker for Barcelona? Adebayor obviously but who else? Who else there is with good heading abilities. I've been thinking of selling Eto, Henry and getting Adebayor and Zigic with Bojan. Would that work?
