He will be counted as a domestic player from 2023 season, provided he doesn't move to a different league outside of China Tyias Browning should be always be counted as a Chinese player as he is not a naturalised player. Hi Jimmy, Thanks for the quick response, all the player registration within Super League is actually fine as your said Pedro Delgado is cleared to play (current date 2024) BUT there is an issue with Asian Champions League registration counting both Pedro Delgado and Tyias Browning as foreign, I'm not sure if this is a AFC particular rule I can't see it written anywhere. Cheers Yeah the issue with Tyias Browning is specifically that he is counted as foreign only in the AFC, not the Chinese League Potentially related: I've also tried adding myself as the National Team Managers of China and England Despite him having China as his main nationality I can call him up to the England squad without having to convince him to switch to England. As for the Asian Champions League, some naturalised players can be counted as domestic player from the first season, other need to wait for a few more seasons before becoming a domestic player in the Asian Champions League. Normally it should be a maximum of 7 foreign players registered in a season. However, from the screenshot you've shown us, it might be caused by your team breaking the financial rule in the previous season, and therefore have received a foreign players registration slot penalty. As for the maximum of 6 foreign players, this is correct, but in a penalty-free season, you are allowed to make one foreign player change in the summer transfer window.
