anitamui
Hi, Is there any way to Promote a Specific team for a Specific advanced Rules competitions? Like if I was making a historical England Division One DB, Bristol City would be promoted from a Inactive Division Two to division one for 1906/1907? and also how to prevent duplicate teams in a League;Like 2 Bristol City playing together? Wolf_pd
In Advanced Rules in lower leagues you can set which preferred to promote. You can also set the year for that option. With regard to your second question, unless you stick two Bristol Citys into the system you will never have a duplicate Bristol City. If you say I want Bristol to be promoted into a division from a lower division and Bristol City is already in that division, the game should ignore that rule. Wolf_pd
Scratch that, it is quite a bit more complicated than that. I have to look into this.

Wolf_pd
No, I have seen a way to do it, but it would involve 100s of changes, for just one team to get promoted at the correct time. That is not the way to go.
