Match 2 - VS Bristol City (League) Solid overall performance, great win. Match 3 - VS Wigan (League) Fairly solid defensive performance, would've liked to win by more though against Wigan. Match 4 - VS Grimsby (Carabao Cup) This game was even and really shouldn't have been, but we managed to win it regardless. Match 5 - VS Portsmouth (League) Annoyed with how we drew, because up until that point, Portsmouth didn't look dangerous at all, and then they got a penalty. Match 6 - VS Ipswich (League) Despite the efforts of Hooper, we lost 3-2. Match 7 - VS Newcastle (League) Despite being dominated, thanks especially to Crellin, we drew with Newcastle. Match 8 - VS Sheff Utd (Carabao Cup) Thanks to Hancox, we beat Sheff Utd 2-1. Match 9 - VS Norwich (League) To lose 1-0 to Norwich is not a bad thing. Match 2 - VS Birmingham (League) A strong performance, showing especially our goal-scoring form and it's potential to be great. Match 3 - VS Crystal Palace (Carabao Cup) I was hoping we could win this, considering the form Crystal Palace was in, but to lose this narrowly isn't a terrible thing. Match 4 - VS Stoke (League) Despite strong performances, especially Hancox, we succumbed to a 2-1 loss. Match 4 - VS Luton (League) Again, being unable to finish. Match 5 - VS Reading (League) Looks like we're on another losing streak then. Both strikers are failing to score. Match 6 - VS Huddersfield (League) Okay, forget what I just said. A hat-trick from one of the strikers, among other goals from Stevens and Idah. Match 2 - VS Sunderland (League) A strong victory for us, that never seemed like we were going to lose. Always 3 goals up minimum, except before we were 3-0 up. Match 3 - VS Nottingham Forest (League) Following an awesome hat trick from Idah, we finished this match 4-0. Match 4 - VS Brentford (League) Another solid game, in which we were unlucky to not score more in. Match 5 - VS Wigan (League) A hat trick from Idah was the thing that allowed us to win this narrow game vs Wigan. Match 6 - VS Ipswich (League) Yet another hat trick gave us a 3-0 win over Ipswich, and got us to 6th place. End of Month League Table # Thanks to our recent winning run, we're now 6th in the table. Match 2 - VS Portsmouth (League) After strong performances from both strikers, we finished this match 5-2, and also proved me wrong about the loss being detrimental. Match 3 - VS Burton (League) Another strong performance, and we're back at 6th. Match 4 - VS QPR (League) Another strong match, and a hat trick from Idah. Great Stuff. Match 5 - VS Millwall (League) Despite drawing, we had enough chances to do something better, we just didn't. PLAYOFFS In the first match of the Playoffs for us, we're up against West Brom, at the Semi Final. Match 2 - VS West Brom (Playoffs, Leg 1, Semi Final, Away) Strong performance from Idah meant we don't have to win next game by 2 goals more than the opponent, which makes it easier. Despite this, we did lose the first leg. Match 3 - VS West Brom (Playoffs, Leg 2, Semi Final, Home) Thanks to a strong team effort, we beat them with an aggregate score of 4-3. In the second match of the Playoffs for us, we're up against Birmingham, at the Final. Match 4 - VS Birmingham (Playoffs, Final, Neutral) We managed a surprising win over Birmingham, and that's it! We're in the Premier Division... now, will we stay there? Match 4 - VS Stoke (Carabao Cup) We lost 3-1. Slightly upsetting, but not unexpected, considering we've not won a game against Stoke. Billy Crellin and James Smith both ensured that we wouldn't lose this. Match 2 - VS Arsenal (League) Despite the end result, I am decently happy with the team. Match 3 - VS Swansea (League) We dominated, and I'm surprised we couldn't do more with our possession, but we managed to draw regardless. Transfer Window Round-up (Under the red line is new signings, in and out (In - Facundo Mura, a strong first choice right-back, Scott Stone, a strong rotational midfielder since we'll likely need one soon -- Out - Ginelly, unfortunately he was not good enough to be backup at this level, so we sold him for 300k.) Match 2 - VS Sheff Utd (League) We managed to beat Sheff Utd thanks to two goals from Hooper, Hayes getting the first goal. Match 3 - VS Fulham (League) Despite us scoring 4 goals, we failed to win or draw. Despite this, I am not upset. This is not a bad loss. Match 4 - VS Arsenal (League) We were unfortunate not to draw this, strong efforts to prevent a loss from our goalie and other team members. Match 5 - VS Watford (League) We dominated a team I didn't expect us to do this well against. What can I say? Match 6 - VS Middlesbrough (FA Cup) We disappointingly lost 2-1 to Middlesbrough. But that was the minimum requirement done now. Match 7 - VS Southampton (League) Okay, except for Hayes, that was disappointing. Cheers. Injuries Results Yeah, we did well enough this month, being outscored in the last game against Huddersfield, but overall decent enough. Onwards! October 2028 ----------------- Match 1 - VS Newscastle (League) It was good that we managed to draw with Newcastle, but I was hoping we could've done more. Match 2 - VS Nottingham Forest (League) I'm disappointed that we couldn't beat them, but at least we didn't lose too hard. Match 3 - VS QPR (League) (images past this point oddly don't register. Great.) Despite having more possession, more shots, we didn't manage to finish ANYTHING and were beat 2-0. Though, Michael Sant got a 94% Pass Completion ratio, and got himself a PoM award. Match 2 - VS Burton (League) This time we won with far more narrow margins, with Hooper being relied upon to give us that crucial goal in a defensively heavy game. Match 3 - VS Bristol City (League) Thanks to Stone and a Penalty, we finished this match 2-0. Match 4 - VS West Brom (League) Despite two goals, they managed to trounce us. Brilliant. Match 5 - VS Huddersfield (League) Thanks to three separate goals from Davie, Hooper and Bettinelli, we beat Huddersfield 3-0. Match 6 - VS QPR (League) Thanks to Sant, Hooper and Hayes, we finished this match 3-0 over QPR. Match 7 - VS Sheff Wed (FA Cup) We trounced them. We absolutely thrashed them.
