janrzm Posted May 2, 2019 Share Posted May 2, 2019 The first season as Man Utd, the rebuild has started in earnest. Started with the first transfer window turned off now it's the January window. I wouldn't normally sign more than one or two players in this window but let's be honest, this squad is poor...... Having Identified my targets I can get my hands on 4 of the players I really want. The problem, they will all expect to be playing Champions League when the registration window opens. With only 3 possible changes being allowed to under the competition rules all I can currently do is leave someone out and deal with the fallout. Would be great if there was an option in the contract negotiations for us to advise that player that they would not feature in the latter stage of this year's competition.
