Manxie_Ash - Welcome back to England and as always when I have a sign up I have to have my World Class attacking midfielder in. It just wouldn't be the same without your namesake

WLKRAS - Any excuse to avoid the Festive fixture list :brock:

December 26th:

Gainsborough (H) (23/42)

We didn't seem to have a Christmas hangover as we controlled the Gainsborough side and on the 23rd minute Terk headed in a Mark Wilson corner much to the delight of the fans. Soon after we had another chance as Gavrenwick rattled the crossbar from outside the area after beating the defence to a loose ball. It was getting too easy for us and just before the break Terk had another chance but his effort was tipped around the post.

The second half was three minutes old Terk grabbed another goal with a low effort which the Gainsborough keeper really should have done better to save. It was one way traffic as Gainsborough failed to deal with our constant attacks. With eleven minutes remaining in the game though I was forced into a change as Salkster came on for the injured Tenthreeleader. On the 85th minute we scored goal number three as Terk completed his hat-trick with a half volley from Gavrenwick's cross.

FMS Rejects 3-0 Gainsborough Terk 23, 48, 85

Mr Demus, Edtheguy, EvilDave, Celtic_1967, Copperhorse, Tenthreeleader (inj 79-Salkster), Gavrenwick (capt), Mark Wilson, Manxie_Ash (CFuller), Terk, Chesterfan

Booked: Manxie_Ash, Celtic_1967

Luckily Tenthreeleader will not miss any play time after only picking up a knock

December 29th:

Altrincham (A) (24/42)

We had the better of the first half with some excellent play and on the 27th minute Chesterfan came close to opening the scores with a long range effort which the keeper just managed to tip over the crossbar. Ten minutes later Terk went close as he ran onto a Mark Wilson through-ball but his final effort saw the ball go wide of the post.

The second half was much the same with us dominating and on the 62nd minute Copperhorse grabbed the opener with a thunderous header from a Gavrenwick corner. Four minutes later it was two nil as Edtheguy headed in from flicked header by Copperhorse. We were controlling the half with real ease but in the end we just couldn't grab another goal. We should have really scored five or six goals

Altrincham 0-2 FMS Rejects Copperhorse 62, Edtheguy 66

Mr Demus, Edtheguy, EvilDave, Celtic_1967, Copperhorse, Salkster (Tenthreeleader), Gavrenwick (capt), Mark Wilson, Manxie_Ash, Terk (BenArsenal), Chesterfan

Booked: Edtheguy, Copperhorse

January 2013:

January 1st:

Oxford City (A) (25/42)

A brilliant start to the New Year saw us a goal up with three minutes as Celtic_1967 hit a powerful effort from outside the area after a corner was cleared. On the 17th minute we came close to grabbing another goal with Chesterfan running from the halfway line with the ball but his effort was pretty tame in the end. It was just too easy for us and on the 43rd minute Terk somehow missed from six yards after Celtic_1967 dinked the ball over the defence.

The second half was six minutes old when we finally added the second goal as CFuller fired in from the penalty spot after Gavrenwick was hauled down in the area. On the 55th minute it was three nil with Chesterfan tapping in after running onto a loose ball. Oxford weren't getting anything from the ball and on the 72nd minute Terk grabbed our fourth goal with a low shot which beat the keeper at his near post. With eleven minutes remaining in the game Oxford pulled a goal back as J.English ran through the defence with far too much ease and fired past Mr Demus

January 5th:

Bradford PA (H) (26/42)

Five minutes into the game we took the lead via the penalty spot after CFuller was brought down in the area, JDoyle stepped up and did the honours. Soon after we had another chance with Chesterfan rattling the upright form outside the area. It was getting too easy for us and on the 20th minute Chesterfan threaded the ball to the feet of Terk who lashed it past the keeper. Bradford weren't getting close to the ball. The second half was three minutes old when Chesterfan made it three nil with a powerful effort which beat the keeper into the corner. On the 58th minute we had another chance as BenArsenal tried his luck from ten yards but the Bradford keeper saved brilliantly to deny him. Five minutes later it was four nil with Chesterfan grabbing his second of the game as he finished a well worked team move. With ten minutes remaining in the game Chesterfan had the chance of finishing his hat-trick but he somehow missed from close range.

January 8th:

Solihull Moors (H) (27/42)

A good performance saw us control the game without getting out of first gear. We had our first chance on the 13th minute with Terk heading a Mark Wilson cross wide of the post. Just before the half hour we took the lead as Manxie_Ash fluffed a cross over the keepers head and into the back of the net for a fluke of a goal.

The second half was much the same as we dominated without really trying and on the 57th minute it was two nil as substitute BenArsenal curled the ball in from the edge of the area with his first touch of the game. Soon after we made it three nil with BenArsenal grabbing his second of the game with a low shot which the Solihull keeper failed to get too. With five minutes remaining in the game we should have added another goal but Salkster somehow missed from close range when it was easier to score.

FMS Rejects 3-0 Solihull Moors Manxie_Ash 28, BenArsenal 57, 71

January 12th:

Colwyn Bay (A) (28/42)

A slow start to the game saw us struggling to get into the opposition area. Despite this we kept the ball away from Colwyn Bay. On the 33rd minute I was forced into a change as Copperhorse replaced the injured EvilDave. With three minutes remaining in the half we finally managed to score as Terk ran through the defence and fired under the keeper.

The second half was a lot better for us as we actually began to pressurise the defence more. However on the 56th minute I was forced into another change as BenArsenal came on for the injured Terk. Ten minutes later we were given the chance to make it two nil as Chesterfan was brought down in the area, Salkster stepped up for the penalty and fired in past the Colwyn keeper. After that we upped the gears and started to put serious pressure on the Colwyn defence and on the 82nd minute Copperhorse grabbed the third and final goal with a brave header from a Manxie_Ash corner.

Colwyn Bay 0-3 FMS Rejects Terk 42, Salkster 66 pen, Copperhorse 82

Mr Demus, Balthazars, EvilDave (inj 33-Copperhorse), Celtic_1967, JDoyle, Manxie_Ash, CFuller, Mark Wilson, Salkster (capt), Terk (inj 56-BenArsenal), Chesterfan

Booked: Manxie_Ash, Salkster

Injury news sees EvilDave out for around two months after spraining his ankle during the match. Manxie_Ash will also be missing for around 4-5 weeks after straining his thigh during the game and finally Terk will be out for around 3-4 months after tearing his hamstring during the game. So in truth a good three points for the win but a bag turd for the injuries

January 19th:

Brackley (H) (29/42)

We made it look easy as we dominated the game without breaking a sweat. On the 14th minute we took the lead as BenArsenal ran into the area with ease and fired under the onrushing keeper. Ten minutes later we came close to adding another goal with a long range effort from Chesterfan but the Brackley keeper saved well to deny him. With eight minutes remaining in the half it was two nil as Celtic_1967 headed in a Tenthreeleader corner after Chesterfan's initial effort was well saved.

Four minutes into the second half we grabbed another goal with Chesterfan finally grabbing his goal with a low effort which gave the keeper no chance of saving. It was far too easy for us and on the 72nd minute WLKRAS headed in a fourth goal from a Tenthreeleader cross. With nine minutes remaining in the game Brackley pulled a goal back as J.Hyde tapped in after Mr Demus dropped a cross.

FMS Rejects 4-1 Brackley BenArsenal 14, Celtic_1967 37, Chesterfan 49, WLKRAS 72 / J.Hyde 81

January 26th:

Histon (H) (30/42)

With six players either injured or on International duty I could only manage to name three substitutes with none of them being a Goalkeeper.

Histon came at us from the start and on the 11th minute Kernunos was forced into a great save after the defence fell asleep. Twelve minutes later it was Copperhorse who saved the day with a well timed challenge in the area to deny the Histon attack. It was all too easy for Histon and on the 39th minute Copperhorse again timed his challenge well to block the attack.

The second half was much the same as Histon controlled the play and on the hour mark they broke through the defence but the strikers effort went well wide of the post. On the 74th minute we finally managed our first effort of the game as BenArsenal rose above the defence and headed towards goal but the Histon keeper saved well. With three minutes remaining in the game Histon had one last chance with a long range effort which saw Kernunos at full stretch to save

FMS Rejects 0-0 Histon

February 2nd:

Stalybridge (A) (31/42)

Twelve minutes into the game we took the lead as Chesterfan rose above the defence and headed a Gavrenwick cross past the Stalybridge keeper. Soon after he had another chance with a low effort after running onto a Mark Wilson through-ball. We were all Stalybridge and on the half hour we came close again with Tenthreeleader curling an effort just wide of the post. With six minutes remaining in the half I was forced into a change as CFuller came on for the injured Salkster.

The second half was ten minutes old when we grabbed our second goal as Chesterfan sprinted into the area and half volleyed a CFuller cross past the keeper. On the 68th minute we had another chance with Chesterfan failing to convert a BenArsenal through-ball after being one on one with the keeper. With seven minutes left in the game Chesterfan had the chance to complete his hat-trick as he failed to slide the ball into an empty net after some woeful defending

After the game I was informed by my press officer that we have now secured a place in the Blue Square Bet North Play-off. However the game came at a cost as Salkster pulled his hamstring and will be out for around 5-6 weeks.

February 9th:

Droylsden (A) (32/42)

Four minutes into the game we took the lead as BenArsenal showed some silky skill to beat the defence and wasted no time in firing under the keeper. On the 19th minute BenArsenal had another chance but he somehow managed to fluff his effort from close range. Just after the half hour we grabbed goal number two as Chesterfan headed a Gavrenwick cross in off the upright. We were all over Droylsden and just before the break we should have scored again but BenArsenal failed to convert from the penalty spot after Chesterfan was brought down in the area.

The second half was again all us and on the 59th minute Gavrenwick grabbed our third goal with a brilliant free-kick after Chesterfan was brought down on the way to goal. Droylsden weren't at the races at all and with fifteen minutes remaining in the game we had another chance with WLKRAS curling onto the edge of the area from outside the area. On the 88th minute the final goal was scored as Celtic_1967 rose above the defence and headed a Tenthreeleader cross past the keeper for goal number four

The Awards for the month have been handed out and Chesterfan has bee awarded the Blue Square Bet North Player of the Month and I have been awarded the Manager of the Month Award despite only playing two games

March 2nd:

Worcester (H) (33/42)

We dominated from the start and on the 13th minute BenArsenal beat the Worcester offside trap and fired under the keeper. Soon after we had another chance with a curling effort from Mark Wilson which beat the keeper but not the upright.. On the 28th minute we doubled our lead as Chesterfan ran onto a BenArsenal through-ball and dinked the ball over the keeper. Just before the break though a poor pass by JDoyle saw Worcester on the attack but Balthazars timed a challenge perfectly to clear the ball.

The second half was much the same as we controlled the play however it took till the 81st minute for us to add another goal as Chesterfan threaded the ball to the feet of BenArsenal who wasted no time in firing past the keeper. On the stroke of full time we grabbed the fourth and final goal as BenArsenal rose above the defence to head in a Neilhoskins cross.

March 9th:

Guiseley (H) (34/42)

It looks like some of you partied alittle too hard as we never even got started in the game. Guiseley controlled the game from the start and on the 16th minute they had the first chance with a rasping effort which had Panpardus at full stretch to save. Ten minutes later Guiseley grabbed the lead as J.Walshaw beat the offside trap with ease and fired under the keeper. Just before the break they had another chance with a low shot which went just wide of the post after Panpardus got a finger onto it.

The second half was all Guiseley again and on the hour mark they had another chance to score with a powerful effort which was blocked by Copperhorse. We were playing terrible and on the 71st minute J.Rea grabbed Guiseley's second goal of the game with a curling effort which beat Panpardus into the top corner. With ten minutes remaining in the game we pulled a goal back as Tenthreeleader intercepted a poor clearance by the keeper and fired it straight back into the back of the net. A poor performance by all.

Boston Utd (A) (35/42)

Not a great game for the fans as both Boston and our side failed to string more than a few passes together. It took till the 43rd minute for the first real effort of the game as Boston broke through the defence with ease and fired past the keeper but his effort clipped the upright and went out.

The second half wasn't much better with little in the way of action but with seven minutes remaining in the game we finally broke the deadlock as Chesterfan rose above the defence and headed a CFuller cross past the keeper to secure all three points

March 30th:

Harrogate (H) (36/42)

We took an early lead as BenArsenal ran onto a Manxie_Ash through-ball and fired under the onrushing keeper. Soon after we had another chance with a thunderous effort from Neilhoskins which had the keeper at full stretch to save. It was becoming alittle too easy for us and on the 33rd minute WLKRAS came close with a low shot which skimmed the outside of the post. Harrogate weren't getting anything from the ball and on the stroke of half time we were awarded a penalty after CFuller was brought down in the area, BenArsenal stepped up and fired towards goal but his penalty was well saved by the keeper.

The second half was thirteen minutes old when the next goal was finally scored as J.Allan beat our offside trap and fired with pace past Panpardus. On the 69th minute we came close to regaining the lead Manxie_Ash curling a great effort towards goal but the Harrogate keeper managed to tip it onto the crossbar. We were piling on the pressure and with eight minutes remaining in the game we grabbed the winner as Chesterfan ran onto a Manxie_Ash through-ball and fired under the onrushing keeper

April 2015:

April 1st:

Bishop's Stortford (H) (37/42)

A good performance as we dominated Bishop's Stortford and on the 11th minute we took the lead as Gavrenwick curled a brilliant free-kick into the top corner after WLKRAS was brought down on the way to goal. Soon after we had another chance as BenArsenal tried his luck from outside the area but the keeper saved well to deny them. On the 34th minute we came close to scoring again as BenArsenal ran onto a Manxie_Ash through-ball and fired towards goal but the keeper was on hand to block the shot. With two minutes remaining in the half we made it two nil as Manxie_Ash ran in from the wing and fired into the far corner of the net to give the keeper little chance of saving.

The second half was fourteen minutes old when we made it three nil as Manxie_Ash curled a free-kick into the area and BenArsenal headed in past the keeper. With twelve minutes remaining in the game CFuller had the final chance of the game to score with a powerful shot which beat the keeper but not the upright. Chester (A) (38/42)

Chester started the better and it wasn't long till they had the first chance as on 7th minute they came close with a rasping effort which had Panpardus at full stretch to save. Ten minutes later they had another chance with a curling effort from which beat the keeper but not the upright. We were being walked over and on the 23rd minute Chester finally got the goal they deserved as T.Gray rose above the defence and headed into the empty net after Panpardus misjudged a cross. Just before the break they had another chance as Chester broke my defence down with ease but Panpardus made up for his earlier error with a fine save.

During the interval I let rip at the players and it seemed to do the trick as within a minute of the kick off we had levelled with WLKRAS doing the honours from close range. On the 64th minute we had our next chance as a long punt upfield by Neilhoskins was volleyed towards goal by WLKRAS but the keeper somehow managed to tip it over the crossbar. We were now in complete control of the game and on the 87th minute we came close to earning all three points as WLKRAS fired just wide of the post from a Chesterfan pass.

Workington (A) (39/42)

A good start saw us coming close to scoring in the 12th minute as WLKRAS threaded the ball to the feet of Gavrenwick who fired just wide of the post. Eight minutes later we had another chance with WLKRAS heading a CFuller cross straight into the keepers arms. On the 28th minute we finally broke the deadlock as Celtic_1967 headed a Gavrenwick corner past the keeper after WLKRAS's initial effort was well saved. Just before the break Workington had their first effort which a low shot which beat Panpardus but luckily for us not the upright.

The second half was all us as we dominated with ease. On the hour mark we were awarded a penalty after Terk was hauled down in the area, he stepped up and fired towards goal but the keeper was on hand to save with ease. Workington weren't getting close to the ball at all and with five minutes remaining in the game we grabbed goal number two with WLKRAS running through the defence with real ease and fired past the keepers outstretched arms.

There seems to be a real issue with players missing penalties for this side Mark!

It's my bad in a way. I hadn't set a regular penalty taker.Only realized recently when playing which isn't too good as I'm around eight seasons in

Gloucester (H) (40/42)

We were by far the better side as we controlled Gloucester from the start and on the 4th minute we came close with a thunderous effort from Terk which had the keeper at full stretch to save. Ten minutes later we had a clear cut chance from the penalty spot as Manxie_Ash was brought down in the area, BenArsenal stepped up and fired wide of the post. On the half hour though we finally broke the deadlock with Terk rising over the defence and wasted no time in heading in a Gavrenwick cross.

The second half was all us again and on the hour we had a goal ruled out as Terk was adjudged to be offside. Gloucester weren't getting close to the ball and on the 73rd minute we finally added another goal with Neilhoskins showing great vision to spot the keeper off the line and lobbed him from around 30 yards to cap off a great performance.

Vauxhall (A) (41/42)

We never got going in the first half as Vauxhall piled forward at every chance they got. On the 13th minute they had their first chance as a poor pass by Tenthreeleader was intercepted and fired towards goal but Panpardus saved well. Ten minutes later they finally broke through as M.Burns fired in from ten yards after running onto a through-ball. Soon after the goal they had another chance with a rasping effort which was diverted wide by Celtic_1967. With nine minutes remaining in the half Vauxhall grabbed a second goal with G.Mahon curling in from outside the area which gave Panpardus little chance of saving.

During the interval I said a few choice words to you lot and it seemed to work as within two minutes of the restart Terk had pulled a goal back after heading in a CFuller cross. On the 56th minute we were level as Terk grabbed his second of the game after barging through the defence with real ease and firing under the Vauxhall keeper. We were all over Vauxhall and on the 75th minute Terk came close to completing his hat-trick with a brave header from CFuller's cross which beat the keeper but not the crossbar. With three minutes remaining in the game we got the winner as Tenthreeleader headed in a Mark Wilson free-kick after Terk was hauled down on the way too goal.

Corby (H) (42/42)

The final game of the season saw us dominating and on the 8th minute we grabbed the lead as CFuller ran from the halfway line and unleashed a thunderous effort past the Corby keeper. Ten minutes later we had another chance with Terk heading just wide of the post from a Tenthreeleader cross. On the 29th minute Manxie_Ash had our next effort with a long range effort which beat the keeper but it didn't dip enough to find the back of the net. With eight minutes remaining in the half we made it two nil as WLKRAS slotted home from close range after beating the defence to a Tenthreeleader low cross.

The second half was much the same as we controlled the play with ease. However it took us till the 73rd minute for us to have our next meaningful effort as EvilDave headed in Mark Wilson corner after Salkster's powerful effort was tipped around the post. Eleven minutes later it was four nil with Terk tapping in a Edtheguy cross after the Corby keeper failed to get close to it. On the 87th minute the final goal was scored as B.Long fired in for Corby after my defence seemed to fall asleep. However I wasn't too fussed as we finally got our hands on the Blue Square Bet North trophy

August 10th:

Accrington (A) Blue Square Bet Premier (1/46)

We face our first game of the League season against Accrington with eight first team member either injured or away with their national sides.

Despite having naff all first team players we performed well and on the 14th minute we took the lead as EvilDave rose above the defence to head in a CFuller cross. Two minutes later it was two nil as Salkster ran through the defence with the ball and rounded the keeper to slot home into the empty net. We were all over Accrington and on the half hour we should have made it three nil with a rasping effort from CFuller which beat the keeper but not the upright.

The second half was much the same as we continued to dominate and on the hour mark Chesterfan had the chance to score but he somehow missed from six yards after running onto a great through-ball. On the 73rd minute we finally got our third goal as CFuller curled in from the corner of the area after running onto a loose ball. With ten minutes remaining in the game we added goal number four as WLKRAS ran onto a CFuller through-ball to slide the ball under the onrushing keeper. An excellent start to the season

EvilDave - You as did the others had a very good season last year and its always good to be the first one to score in the new season. Lets hope you get a few more goals throughout the season

Ben - What can I say, its a shame really but at least you will have the rest of the season to prove yourself more than you already have

August 15th:

International news sees Balthazars earning his first cap for the Chinese PR National side.

August 19th:

Injury news sees BenArsenal returning to full training after five weeks out with a twisted ankle

August 28th:

Newport Co (H) (2/46)

We started well again and on the 11th minute we were in the lead as WLKRAS ran onto a Salkster through-ball to fire in under the keeper. Eight minutes later we had another chance with WLKRAS again coming close after heading just wide of the post from a Gavrenwick cross. We were all over Newport and on the 29th minute we had another chance to score with Terk curling a long range effort just wide of the post after running in from the wing. With five minutes remaining in the half the next goal was scored as D.Crow fired in from the penalty spot for Newport after JDoyle handled in the area.

The second half was all us and just before the hour mark we made it 2-1 with Celtic_1967 heading in a corner after WLKRAS's initial effort was well saved. Newport weren't getting near the ball and with five minutes remaining in the game we made it safe as WLKRAS slotted home from close range after beating the offside trap with ease

WLKRAS - A pretty damn good start, lets make sure you and the rest of the team keep it up

August 31st:

Stockport (A) (3/46)

We were by far the better side and it took till the 22nd minute for us to open the scoring as Neilhoskins beat the offside trap to run onto a Mark Wilson through-ball and fire under the keeper. Two minutes later it was two nil as WLKRAS headed in a Gavrenwick corner after Terk's long range effort was tipped over the crossbar. We were all over Stockport and on the 39th minute Salkster had the next chance as he ran onto a WLKRAS through-ball and slotted the ball wide of the post.

The second half was eight minutes old when we grabbed goal number three as EvilDave headed in a CFuller corner after Salkster's low effort was diverted wide. On the hour mark though Stockport had their first chance of the game as they broke through my defence with ease but Mr Demus saved well to deny them. With eleven minutes remaining in the game I was forced into a change Tenthreeleader came on for the injured Captain Gavrenwick

However the rest of the players reacted well and on the 20th minute we levelled the scores as WLKRAS threaded the ball to the feet of Salkster who lashed the ball into the back of the net. Eight minutes later though Luton came close again as Mr Demus flapped at a ball but EvilDave reacted well to clear the ball off the line. With six minutes remaining in the half we took the lead as Terk beat the offside trap and fired under the onrushing keeper. On the 42nd minute we added goal number three as Terk played a one two with WLKRAS and rounded the keeper to slot home into the empty net.

The second half was seven minutes old when I was forced into a change after Terk pulled up on a run, he was replaced by BenArsenal. Just after the hour mark we had our next chance as CFuller dinked the ball over the defence but BenArsenal failed to connect with the ball properly and it bobbled into the Luton keepers arms. On the 74th minute the final goal of the game was scored as WLKRAS got the goal he deserved as he rose above the defence and headed in a Mark Wilson cross.

September 4th:

Contract news sees a certain young BenArsenal reject my latest contract offer, despite being offered a substantial wage. Copperhorse has also rejected a new contract also stating the wage wasn't good enough. However everyone else at the club has accepted a new contract. We'll have to see how these two play out.

September 14th:

Ebbsfleet (A) (4/46)

We continued our great start the season with an impressive display against Ebbsfleet. It took us till the 17th minute for the first real effort on goal as Chesterfan beat the offside trap and tried his luck from just inside the area but the keeper save well to deny him. Twelve minutes later Salkster came close with a thunderous effort which had the keeper at full stretch to tip round the post, unfortunately we failed to convert the corner into anything. With six minutes remaining in the half we finally broke through the defence as Celtic_1967 headed in a Gavrenwick free-kick after Mark Wilson was hauled down on the way to goal.

The second half was much the same and just before the hour mark BenArsenal made it two nil with a low shot from ten yards after running onto a Chesterfan through-ball. Ebbsfleet weren't getting close to mounting an attack and on the 74th minute we had our next chance with WLKRAS rattling the upright from outside the area. We had one final chance on the stroke of full time with Mark Wilson threading the ball to the feet of Chesterfan who lashed the ball wide of the post.

September 18th:

York (A) (5/46)

We finally dropped points for the first time this season as we laboured to a very very dire 0-0 draw with York. Neither my side or the York side seemed to be able to do the basics in the game and I vented my anger towards the side at half time.

The second half wasn't much better with little in the way of action and at the final whistle the chorus of boos let both sets of players know what they thought of their performance

Southport (H) (6/46)

After the performance of the last game I let my players know what I wanted and you lot delivered. We controlled the game with real ease and on the 19th minute we had our first effort as Chesterfan ran onto a Gavrenwick through-ball to fire towards goal but the keeper reacted well to deny him. With eight minutes remaining in the half we got the lead we deserved as Chesterfan rose above the defence and headed in a Gavrenwick cross.

The second half was much the same as we continued the pressure and just before the hour BenArsenal made it two nil as he ran onto a Chesterfan through-ball and dinked the ball over the onrushing keeper. We were all over Southport and on the 67th minute JDoyle grabbed a third with a brave header. It was becoming far too easy but with four minutes remaining in the game Southport pulled a goal back as A.Clark ran into the area unmarked and lashed the ball into the top corner.

September 24th:

Dartford (H) (7/46)

Dartford began pretty well and on the 19th minute they had the first effort as they broke through the defence and fired towards goal but Panpardus saved well to deny them. Ten minutes later they had another chance with a great team move which was thwarted by a last ditch challenge by Celtic_1967. Just after the half hour we had our first chance with Gavrenwick curling the ball into the area but Chesterfan headed wide of the post. On the stroke of half time Dartford had another chance with a thunderous effort which was blocked by Celtic_1967 who needed a couple of minutes treatment afterwards.

The second half saw my players finally playing and on the 51st minute Salkster came close after beating the defence to a loose ball but his final effort went just wide of the post.. Seven minutes later we made the breakthrough as Neilhoskins dinked the ball over the defence and BenArsenal ran through and fired under the keeper. However we nearly let ourselves down as straight from kick off Dartford broke into the area but luckily for us Celtic_1967 saved the day with a fine strike. The rest of the half saw the play centred in the middle of the pitch and neither my side or the Dartford side came close to threatening the goal

Woking (A) (8/46)

Four minutes into the game we took the lead as BenArsenal threaded the ball to the feet of Tenthreeleader who lashed it past the keeper. Soon after we had another chance with a curling effort from Chesterfan which had the keeper at full stretch to save. It took till the half hour mark for our next chance as Gavrenwick crossed into the area but BenArsenal headed over the crossbar.

The second half was all us again and on the 58th minute we came close to goal number two as Copperhorse headed a Gavrenwick corner wide of the post. Twelve minutes later it was two nil as Chesterfan ran onto a through-ball and fired under the keeper, however the goal was ruled out for offside. With three minutes remaining in the game we had our final chance with Copperhorse running from defence and trying his luck from thirty yards but the ball didn't dip enough and clipped the top of the crossbar

October 2013:

October 1st

The Awards have been handed out for the previous month and I have been awarded the Blue Square Bet Premier Manager of the Month

Grimsby (A) (10/46)

We got off to a great start as within two minutes we went a goal up as Chesterfan beat the offside trap and fired under the onrushing keeper. However Grimsby responded well and on the 18th minute they levelled the scores with a rasping effort from L.Evans. Twelve minutes later Grimsby had another chance to score as poor defending by Balthazars saw their striker one on one with Panpardus but the Brazilian keeper saved well.

The second half was four minutes old when the next goal was scored as R.Hannah headed in past Panpardus. Their lead didn't last long though as on the 54th minute we levelled with BenArsenal rising above the defence and heading in a Gavrenwick cross. The game was becoming quite open and on the 68th minute Grimsby retook the lead as R.Hannah made a mockery of the defence and rounded Panpardus to slot home into the empty net. Ten minutes later Grimsby had yet another chance to score but Panpardus was up to the task to save the day with a brilliant close range save. With a minutes remaining in the game the final goal was scored with Salkster showing some great pace to beat the defence and fired with power past the Grimsby keeper

Stalybridge (H) (11/46)

Fourteen minutes into the game Stalybridge were reduced to ten men after C.Ward was sent off for a professional foul in the area, CFuller stepped up for the resulting penalty and fired with pace past the keeper. On the 24th minute it was two nil with Salkster running in from the wing and curling the ball past the stand in keeper. We were all over ten man Stalybridge but failed to add to our tally in the first half.

The second half was much the same as we continued to press forward and just before the hour mark we added another goal as Mark Wilson hit a thunderous effort past the keeper. On the 68th minute goal number four was scored as BenArsenal beat the offside trap and slotted the ball under the onrushing keeper much to the delight of The Cess Pool fans. Stalybridge weren't getting anything from the ball and on the 81st minute we added another goal with Celtic_1967 doing the honours with a great header from Mark Wilson's cross. Seven minutes later BenArsenal grabbed his second of the game with a low effort which gave the keeper little chance of saving. It was all too easy and with a minute remaining in the game CFuller added goal number seven with a long range effort which beat the keeper into the top corner. A great performance lads!!!
