Earlwood Wanderers Bring in 14 During Auction

ApMG4Px.png

The auction proved fruitful for some, but none as many as Earlwood who managed an entire squad of players in their bidding war against the other clubs, bringing in no less than 14 players. The auction moved 49 players to new teams for a total of £124.5M, of which £40M was spent by Earlwood's Leonavich. The record fees strengthen an already formidable side, but only time will tell if the squad will be able to gel quickly enough to be competitive in the upcoming league.

The record signings for the auction were Hot Prospect Dele Alli for £12M, Followed by Bellerin for £8M and Dragowski and Nolito for £6M each, while more purchases are sure to come when the transfer window officially opens between clubs in the coming days.

The Wanderers Go to Market

ApMG4Px.png

The Transfer Market opened a few days a go to no more than a whisper. With the Auction only ending a few days prior, most sides had already assembled strong squads and had been looking for only a few players that fit in with their current group of players. With only 4 officially confirmed transfers, there are sources claiming that a few sides are close to wrapping up their final transfers of the window. Though Earlwood are yet to official announce any of their signings, they are one such side and it is understood they have atleast 4 players on their radar that they are looking to confirm shortly.

It was announced just moments ago, that they have listed 4 players of their own onto the market, which will be players exiting to make way for any future transfers they are hoping to complete before the window shuts.

Leon remained tight lipped about the market activity, but did however state "You can expect a few fresh faces come the close of the window. We are in the final stages of negotiations, and once finalised, there will most likely be some changes to our lineup, with a few players unfortunately having to be listed as we have a limited amount of squad positions available."

Player From Fee
---------------------------------------
Eder Balanta River Plate £ 9.0M
Andrija Zivkovic Partizan £ 7.5M
Martin Odeegard Real Madrid £15.0M
Lucas Romero Cruzeiro £12.0M
---------------------------------------
Total: £43.5M

The 4 players are all under the age of 20, however will be vying for starting positions quite quickly if they are able to prove they have the abilities over their more experienced counterparts. All with such high potential, they are most certainly the future of this young Wanderers side.
