Masenyah
I have heard that there are some huge differences in the way tactics are created in the FML/FM09. Does anyone know what these differences are?

Wakers
The main difference is there are no arrows in the FML engine. This makes it harder to make those ridiculous tactics that were so hard for the match engine to cope with. Instead, forward runs are controlled with the slider "make forward runs" There were a few other minor changes while i was in the FML beta, i'm sure there have been even more in the last three months. That kinda suck. Half the fun in FM is creating those crazy tactics
themoffster
Might be fun, but when you all complain about the game not being realistic.....
Golaxi
thank god the stupidity of crazy tactics is over!
kccircle
What I have noticed after playing FM Live for the last few days is the difference in speed. I have just put FM08 back on and forgot how quick the match play can be (play one notch to the left of the top slider) FM Live can be a little slow until you get used to it
Wakers
But with FML you have to leave highlights on and you can only set the match to a speed that the other guy agrees on. When i was playing everyone wanted it on about 3/4 speed which is a mite slower than I usually watch highlights in FM.
kccircle
True - but if the person you're playing insists on medium then switch yours to slow. He'll soon agree to fast speed
