Group A: Greece v Czech Republic

Oh, and about the game itself. I felt that the first half was dominated by the Czechs even if you forget about the goals. Of course, conceding twice so early can kill any team, but it was clear that they were a better, more balanced team with Greece only relying on set pieces and long balls.

What changed after the HT was not Greece playing better (as was the case on Friday) but the Czechs losing their brain - Rosicky. As an Arsenal fan and a fan of him specifically, I was observing his movement and play closely and almost everything relied on him, his decisions, passes or positioning. When he was gone, the Czechs had no idea how to play. The decision to take Baros off and let Pekhart on was a very good one, but mostly because he is taller and Czechs started playing long balls as well.

For a long time it was like both teams were just launching high balls into the other half hoping something would happen. Only Pilar was a real threat from positional attack. In the end, Greece scored one goal gifted to them by the GK (again!) and failed to do anything else but bombard the Czech area with high balls.

No offside both games against Poland and Czech against Greece.Yes all the stupid referee's decision against Greece...

First game Papastathopoulos got a red card due to marking which is not even considered a faoul in football.

Refs might not want Greece to qualify but we will with a win in the next game against Russia!
