cpfcfm2009
I am at the start of the 2016/17 season and a huge proportion of the best under-21s in the world are french (Lyon, Rennes and Monpellier the main source) I don't have the skills to post a screen shot, so you will have to take my word that of the most valuable players under twenty one, 19 of the top 25 ae French. Just curious if this is replicated in other peoples games or is it just a strange purple patch for les bleus??
Coentrao
I've seen that as well, specially from Rennes and Lyon, they always seem to have amazing players.
mije1983
How wide is your scouting knowledge? I'm guessing you used the player search to find out the top 25 valued players so if your scouting range is limited this will distort the results.
cpfcfm2009
Worldwide scouting range - the rest of the top 25 are from Holland (2), Brazil, Argentina, Ivory Coast and Croatia
Robsy1990
Yep, France seem to consistently produce amazing players on FM12. Rennes is a hotbed, they've had between two and six world-class players come through their academy every season the past three seasons on mine. Total_Chaos
Yup, I've found the same. I've just signed a quintet of young players from Lyon's youth team for around £21m. One 14 year old, two 16 year old's, one 17 year old, and one 18 year old, all with 4.5* potential (Scout for Man Utd has 20/20 JCA/JPA). Having played multiple saves that have gone 20 years into the future, I can comment that this is not out of the ordinary. In most saves, it is a case of, "If you want the best... Go French"...
