Vanchatron
I currently have 3 tactics set. They all use 4-1-2-1-2, and the only difference between them is that one is set to Standard, the other is set to Attacking and the other is set to Defending. They have all learnt the Standard formation perfectly, although as you can see from the screenshot below, I've left it for quite a long time now and they don't seem to be getting familiar with the Attacking & Defending formations. It's strange because I previously had the same 3 formations, although instead of making them Standard/Attack/Defence based I had one of them as Standard, the other as Direct Passing & the other as Short passing. They learnt them absolutely fine and became 100% familiar with them, but for some reason they won't with my new formations I've set. Why is this, am I doing something wrong perhaps? Thanks. ArranoBeltza
I don't see any problems with this screenshot...
Vanchatron
It's obvious... You can see they're not "fluid" with Mentality, Tempo or Width for some reason, no matter how long I leave it, whereas they're completely fluid with my starting tactic. mackemforever
I'm not certain but they might have to actually play games with those tactics to fully get used to them. Try using one of the tactics for a few games in a row.
AndyPass
Have you set the match preparation focus to very low?
