cavo_900
Hi im thinking of getting a laptop what do you think about this spec. only running 2 countries with 10 leagues as doing the New Dawn in New Land Challange. Intel Celeron M550 (1.86Mhz) processor. 1Gb RAM. 80Gb hard drive. 15.4in WXGA non-glare display. DVD-RW supermulti. 256Mb shared graphics.
Neil Dejyothin
If you're going for a laptop you could probably get one that is better than that for a reasonably good price. If you can get a Core 2 Duo CPU (or similar) and a little more RAM, then that would probably be the best way to go.
deviataz
I'd recommend a 5400 RPM harddrive at least as FM uses a lot of temporary files data is written to and read out of. People don't seem to realise it -is- a bottleneck (listen to your drive when processing fixtures or check file activity ). I'd also recommend at least 2GB of RAM if you run Vista. If you want to process fixtures fast(er) get a Core2Duo CPU.
Neji
Dont get any laptop unless it is a Dual Core, also look for 2GB of RAM.
jayahr
Those specs look like years ago... I just bought 2x2.53Mhz 4 GB RAM (the rest doesn't matter for FM really) and the game is flying with 22 divisions from 10 nations selected.
