Bradley21 Posted August 7, 2011 Share Posted August 7, 2011 So im playing dafuges challenge at the moment as Bury Town and after being promoted in my first season i lost a couple of players to bigger teams, especially in central midfield. So you can imagine my surprise and delight when i got a player through my youth academy who was dubbed "the new michael carrick", ive never seen such a high PA player come through a club at blue square premiership level before. And predictably before he even plays a game for me Hull bid 6k and my chairman sells him Losing a player who would be worth millions in the future for 6k is soul destroying. Tempted to download FMRTE and check his actual PA, but i reckon seeing it would make me even more depressed than i already am Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

spizaa Posted August 7, 2011 Share Posted August 7, 2011 Set the asking value at some stupid high amount then clubs won't bid for your players. They may still sniff around but I have yet had any bids doing this. Hopefully it works for lower division clubs? I'm not sure because I prefer to manage top division only.
