cragswfc
Remembering I got a lot of goals from corners in FM years back, I've tried recreating the routine for FM10 using the 10.3 patch and it appears to be working ( a goal every other game). IN-SWINGER TO NEAR-POST DELIVERY (Left footer takes right side corner and vice versa) 2 Players - Stay back (Full Bks usually) 1 Player - Back if needed (DMC or ball-winning CM) 1 Player - Lurk (Best shot) 3 Players - Stand far post 1 Player - Challenge keeper (DC) 1 Player - Near post flick-on (DC-best header) The far post guys are merely decoys. The lurker is in case of a bad clearance from the occasional out-swinging corner. If you've got a big target man you can use him instead of a centreback to improve his goal tally. This ploy usually results in a direct headed goal from the near-post flicker or the keeper-challenger picks up the bits and pieces from a keeper/ defender spill and scrambles it in ! Not sure if it's another bug but at least the goal incidents look more realistic. Give it a go !
old gregg
Ive had lots of success with out swinging corners to the back post with Shawcross attacking the back post but I'll certainly give this a go and report back. I'd be interested in a defensive set up as I seem to concede quite a few from set pieces.
