hrbfcrule
December 2032 League Cup Quarter Final: Hampton & Richmond e2-0 Tottenham Took us a while to get going, into extra time in fact but eventual our perseverence paid off. Martyn Walters and Fabio Jose scored in the 2nd half of injury time to set up yet another League Cup semi final tie against Man Utd. League: Hampton & Richmond 3-1 Coventry A great win against 2nd place Coventry which extended our league at the top. Francesco Gori gave us the lead in the 1st half but we were pegged back instantly. Our quality saw us pull away in the 2nd half as Francesco Gori and Luca Mathys scored to give us a 3-1 win. Champions League Group A: HSV 0-5 Hampton & Richmond A great way to end the group stage, Michele Coletti scored twice in the 1st half along with a HSV own goal to put us 3 up at the break. In the 2nd half Martyn Walters and Fabio Jose scored to complete the rout. Champions League Group A Club World Championship Semi Final: Okayama 0-3 Hampton & Richmond Luca Mathys ended a dismal 1st half on a high when he scored in the 45th min. Nick Norrell then scored twice in the 2nd half to complete an easy victory. Club World Championship Final: LA Galaxy 0-2 Hampton & Richmond David Mendez added another to his tally as we cruised past LA Galaxy. Luca Mathys made sure of the win in the 2nd half by scoring with a long range shot. League: Ipswich 1-5 Hampton & Richmond Soares scored twice in the 1st half and goals also from Francesco Gori and Reinaldo put us in a comfortable position at half time. Ipswich didn't help themselves as they lost their discipline and got a man sent off. Fabio Jose took full advantage of this by scoring our 5th before Ipswich got a late consolation. League: Hampton & Richmond 1-1 Arsenal In the end a draw was a fair result but we will still feel gutted. Soares gave us the lead midway through the 2nd half but Arsenal equalised in the 3rd min of stoppage time. League: Hampton & Richmond 3-1 Tottenham Don't know how but somehow we were 3-0 at half time despite it being one of our worst 1st half performances. Francesco Gori scored twice and Luca Mathys added a 3rd. Tottenham got 1 back early in the 2nd half to make me a bit nervous but we held out to claim the win League Table Project St Albans Mid season update, Again they find themselves in a strong position at the half way stage hopefully they won't blow it this time. FA Cup: Went out at the 1st hurdle although at least this time it took a replay. FA Trophy: A lot better, are now in the 2nd round where they will play Leyton Orient of the BSP Transfer talk: Finally St Albans have started to splash the cash but at the moment the big money men haven't performed. Nicky Daniels - bought for £300k from AFC Wimbledon but so far has made 9 appearances with an average rating of 6.61, not great. However he is only 19 so maybe the manager is looking to the future. Glen Flood - bought for £55k from Sunderland, not doing much better than Nicky Daniels with 6.78 average rating from 8 appearances. Again though he is young so he could prove to be a great signing in the future.
Leicester Fan
Yeah sureIm afraid it's not very interesting really: League history: Started off badly and became a league 1 side for a while but since then theyve slowly established themselves as a mid table Championship side. This season looks to be more of the same as they sit 11th at Christmas. As for cups I'm afraid it's just as bad as the league really, FA Cup they have twice made the Quarter Final but nothing better. League Cup is even worse as they have only made the 4th Round once, normally falling at the 2nd or 3rd rounds. JPT isn't great either going out in the 2nd or 1st round all years except in 2011/12 where they reached the final only to lose out to Leeds 3-1. Their only silverware from 2009/10 season onwards in the 3 League 1 winners medals in 2012, 2017, 2023 Cheers HRBFC
hrbfcrule
January 2033 FA Cup 3rd Round: Swindon 0-4 Hampton & Richmond An easy win over lower league opposition. Nick Morrell and David Mendez scored in the opening 15 mins to effectively seal the match already. Ryan Lang and Fabio Jose scored 2nd half goals to complete a decent win. League Cup Semi Final 1st Leg: Man Utd 3-2 Hampton & Richmond Very proud of my team as it was made up of 2nd string players and we only lost by 1 goal. It wasn't looking good at half time when we were 2 down. Things got even worse in the 46th min when Man Utd went 3-0 up but we pulled 2 goals back both scored by Fabio Jose. League: Man City 1-0 Hampton & Richmond Very disappointing as we deserved at least a point. We were punished by lack of concentration as they scored in 1st half injury time. League: Hampton & Richmond 3-0 Aston Villa Got off to a great start when Soares scored within a minute but we had to wait for a 2nd. It took us till the 74th min to get a 2nd and to confirm victory. Ferriera got the 2nd and Sandro Rose added a 3rd late on. League: Everton 1-1 Hampton & Richmond Fair result as we put on a poor display. Arkady Yerofeev gave us the lead in the 1st half but Everton had a few chances in the 2nd half. They took 1 of them to equalize in the 67th min. League Cup Semi Final 2nd Leg: Hampton & Richmond e(4) 2-0 (3) Man Utd A great victory to see us into our 5th final in 6 years. Ryan Lang gave us the lead in the 32nd min which eventually took the game to extra time as away goals only count after extra time. But we didn't need to count on away goals as Ferriera gave us a 2-0 lead in the 112th min. FA Cup 4th Round: Man City 0-3 Hampton & Richmond Very lucky to win 3-0 as we only had 5 shots in the match and only 3 on target. Sandro Rose, Francesco Gori and David Mendez got the 3 goals. League: Hampton & Richmond 1-1 Man Utd We dominated the 1st half and the whole match. But were made to rue missed chances. Soares gave us the lead n the 28th min but Man Utd equalised in the 75th min. League: Hampton & Richmond 5-0 Liverpool Liverpool are in a relegation battle so a big win was expected and delivered. Fabio Jose gave us the lead in the 28th min before Soares scored twice to make it 3-0 at half time. Liverpool didn't help themsleves as they got a man sent off in the 40th min. Xabier Calderon scored our 4th in the 75th min and finally an own goal completed the scoring. League Table
hrbfcrule
February 2033 League: Hampton & Richmond 5-0 Blackburn Another 5-0 win this time against one of Liverpool's relegation rivals. Soares, Arkady Yerofeev, Luca Mathys and Francesco Gori all scored in the 1st half. It could have been worse in the 2nd half for Blackburn but we only scored 1 more Fabio Jose got it in the 49th min. League: Preston 1-1 Hampton & Richmond Another needlessly dropped 2 points. We really should have wrapped this game up but again failed to do so. Luca Mathys gave su the lead in the 25th min but Preston hit back before half time. Friendly: Italy 3-1 Belgium A comfortable win against a weak Belgium side who are suffering from a string of injuries. Francesco Gori opened the scoring before Matteo Pisani stole the show with 2 more goals. Belgium got 1 back in the 66th min but we saw the rest of the game out. FA Cup 5th Round: Hampton & Richmond 4-1 West Ham Braces from David Mendez and Michele Coletti made sure of the win. West Ham never really posed a threat untilt he last 10 mins when they managed to get a consolation but the game was over by a long way. Champions League 1st Knockout 1st Leg: Real Madrid 1-0 Hampton & Richmond A disappointing draw as we were drawn against the one team we were looking to avoid. Even more disappointing was our performance as we failed to get the away goal which could leave us in real trouble for the 2nd leg. League: Wolves 1-1 Hampton & Richmond Another poor performance as we draw to Wolves and probably deserved to lose. Wolves stunned us by scoring early on but we equalised fairly quickly through Francesco Gori. But instaed of us pushing on for the winner Wolves fought back and should have got a winner. League Cup Final: Preston 0-3 Hampton & Richmond Deserved to win but maybe not by 3 goals. Francesco Gori and Reinaldo hit Preston twice within 5 mins to really take the fight out of them after they had started so brightly. The rest of the match was a walk made even more so by Arkady Yerofeev when he scored early in the 2nd half. League Table

hrbfcrule
Great stuff, been following it since the start. loving coventry atm, what kind of players they got to be able to do that? They actually have a very average squad or maybe thats just my view after spending so long with top quality players at H+R. Their standout player is Daniel who is rated as higly as my best defenders by my scouts. They also have: Miguel - a "leading premiership striker" although the same scout also says he would be the 5th best striker in our squad if I signed him. Daniel Norriega - rated as "good premiership player" Matthieu Hubert - rated as only a "good championship striker" yet he has 12 goals in 28 appearances this season John Koppelaar - rated as a decent premership player So I would say their only player who would make my team is Daniel the other players are just performing above their ability. Nice to see the Saints splashing the cash at last! You will soon see if it has come to good effect An engrossing read, really enjoying it. Project St Albans is a great idea Thanks, it helps make the game even more interesting
hrbfcrule
March 2033 League: Hampton & Richmond 3-0 QPR Took a while to get going but once we did we cut QPR apart brutally. Soares scored the 1st in the 43rd min, Kevin Hill (YP2) followed suit with a 2nd early in the 2nd half. Francesco Gori made it 3-0 but it could have been 4 if Soares hadn't missed a penalty in the 89th min. FA Cup Quarter Final: Arsenal 1-0 Hampton & Richmond My 1500th game in management . It was going well in the 1st half as we looked really up for it but we couldn't find the net. Then we were struck a real blow when Arsenal scored with an hour gone, we never really recovered and were dumped out the FA Cup. Champions League 1st Knockout Round 2nd Leg: Hampton & Richmond p (1) 1-0 (1) Real Madrid Phew!! that was close. We were all over them 1st half but, like the Arsenal match, we just couldnt find the net. Then we struck lucky just after the break when our constant pressure finally forced an own goal this levelled things up in the tie. We continued to push for the winner but were wary of not conceding. This meant we couldnt fully commit ourselves to attack so we weren't as potent as we should have been. Then the game took another turn when Federico Di Fabio got sent off in the 76th min taking us down to 10 men. We managed to hang on till full time but only just. Extra time wasn't too eventful as both sides seemed settled for a shootout despite us having a man less. Things took another turn for the worse when Ahmet Durmaz got injured in the 97th min taking us down to 9 men as I had made my 3 subs. We still managed to hang on despite a barrage of Real Madrid shots. We got our reward in the shootout as we won it 5-4. League: Middlesbrough 1-4 Hampton & Richmond A ruthless 1st half where we put 4 past a hapless Boro. Soares scored twice, Kevin Hill (YP2) once and Arkady Yerofeev once. Boro got a lot better in the 2nd half and even managed to get a goal back but were never going to effect the reult. League: Bolton 1-2 Hampton & Richmond How we didn't score more is beyond me, we were put ahead by an own goal (it seems like we are turning into Man Utd with all these own goals) in the 10th min. Xabier Calderon then made it 2-0 in the 71st min before Bolton got 1 back. League: Hampton & Richmond 2-1 Chelsea Arkady Yerofeev and Luca Mathys gave us a 2-0 half time lead but Chelsea hit back in the 2nd half but only scored one. We are slowly edging closer to the title now. World Cup Quals (EUR) Group 8: Italy 5-0 Finland A big win against one of my former employers. Finland were taken apart by two people, Armando Giacomini and Francesco Gori between them they scored all 5 goals. Gori got the hat trick and Giacomini got a brace. Champions League Quarter Final 1st Leg: Man City 0-1 Hampton & Richmond Not getting the luck of the draw at the moment, playing 2 of the favourites in the 2 knockout rounds. After a drab 1st half we livened things up at the start of the 2nd half when Soares gave us the lead and a vital away goal which ended up being the winner. hrbfcrule
April 2033 League: Southampton 1-1 Hampton & Richmond With the league basically in the bag I am using all the league matches as a chance for fringe players and to rest 1st team players for the Champions League matches. Kevin Hill (YP2) gave us the lead after 14 mins but Southampton equalised in injury time of the 1st half. Champions League Quarter Final 2nd Leg: Hampton & Richmond (3) 2-0 (0) Man City We eased past Man City who are really struggling this season. Sandro Rose gave us an early lead and once Soares made it 2-0 in the 28th min then it was clearly game over as Man City had no fight left in them. League: Hampton & Richmond 1-1 West Ham We attacked right from the off and got a penalty in the 5th min but Soares missed it as we would come to regret later. Daniel Torres did give us the lead in the 28th min but again we were pegged back before half time and thats the way it stayed. Champions League Semi Final 1st Leg: Feyenoord 2-2 Hampton & Richmond The 1 advantage of playing the bigger teams early on is that we will get easier opponents in the semis and final. It was this thinking that led to complacency and us playing extremely poorly. Feyenoord took the lead in the 9th min and looked like they were going to hold it until a dramatic last 5 mins. Ferriera equalised in the 85th min to give us a good away goal but immediately Feyenoord hit back with a goal in the 89th min. But that wasn't the end of it as Arkady Yerofeev equalised again for us in the 92nd min. League: Coventry 1-1 Hampton & Richmond We really should have won this but still its not the worst result as all we needed to do was avoid the loss. Same old story for us as Fabio Jose gave us an early lead. As usual we conceded the equaliser within the last 5 mins of the 1st half. Champions League Semi Final 2nd Leg: Hampton & Richmond (6) 4-0 (2) Feyenoord No complacency this match as Kevin Hill (YP2), Soares and Luca Mathys all scored in the 1st half to effectively guarantee us a place in the final. Fabio Jose finished things off with a 4th in the 2nd half, giving us a chance to win our 4th Champions League Title in a row. League: Hampton & Richmond 4-1 Ipswich Fabio Jose and Kevin Hill (YP2) gave us an early 2 goal lead but Ipswich scored just before half time to pull themselves back in contention (Every League match this month we have conceded between the 43rd min and half time). But we pulled away in the 2nd half David Mendez getting his 1st league goal for the club and Kevin Hill (YP2) getting his 2nd of the match. League Table - more good news as Liverpool's relegation is confirmed with 3 games left of the season :D:D
hrbfcrule
May 2033 League: Aston Villa 2-0 Hampton & Richmond A disappointing loss but it didn't matter as we had already won the title thanks to Coventry losing the day before we played this match. League: Hampton & Richmond 2-0 Newcastle We surpass the 80 point mark with a comfortable win over Newcastle. Fabio Jose and Luca Mathys got the 2 goals to win our last home game of the season. League: Arsenal 2-1 Hampton & Richmond Francesco Gori gave us the lead which we took to half time. But Arsenal shocked us by scoring twice in the 2nd half to win the match. Champions League Final: Hampton & Richmond 1-0 Inter A very close game in the 1st half but as the game wore on we became stronger and stronger. However we couldn't score in normal time so it went to extra time. We finally took one of our chances Michele Coletti scoring the goal to win the Champions League on his final match for us as he moves to Liverpool next season. hrbfcrule
End of Season Summary: Hampton & Richmond, Premiership 2032/33 League: 1st, Champions FA Cup: Lost 1-0 against Arsenal in the Quarter Final League Cup: Winners, beating Preston 3-0 in the final Champions League: Winners, beating Inter 1-0 in extra time in the final Community Shield: Lost on pens after 1-1 draw against Man City European Super Cup: Winners, beating Real Madrid 5-0 Club World Championship: Winners, beating LA Galaxy 2-0 in the final League Table, League Graph Squad, Transfers We started well, racking up the wins and despite a few blips we continued really well until the turn of the year. We started dropping points fairly regularly but thankfully so did our opponents. We won the title fairly comfortably with just 81 pts with 3 games to spare Also some great news is Liverpool are relegated This saw me win Manager of the Year again and Richard Wilson come 2nd in European Goalkeeper of the Year. Luca Mathys, Fabio Jose and Reinaldo dominated the English Young Player of the Year. Chris Martin, Sylvio and Daniel Torres made the Premier Division Team of the Year while Richard Wilson, Soares and Luca Mathys made the bench. Chris Martin, Reinaldo and Soares were in the World Team of the Year, Francesco Gori made the bench. Community Shield: A very close game which never really got going until the latter stages. Man City took the lead in the 79th min and looked to be heading for the win until Ryan Lang netted an equalsier deep into injury time to take the game to penalties. Unfortunately that goal seemed to just prolong the loss as we lost out 4-3 on penlaties ending our run of 6 consecutive Community Shields. European Super Cup: Absolute destruction against Madrid. We made a lot of good chances and took them too. Francesco Gori, Soares and Arkady Yerofeev gave us a 3-0 lead at half time but instead of sitting back we continued to push for more goals. Arkady Yerofeev and Xabier Calderon getting the goals after half time to complete a historic win over Real Madrid. Club World Cup: David Mendez added another to his tally as we cruised past LA Galaxy. Luca Mathys made sure of the win in the 2nd half by scoring with a long range shot. League Cup: Comfortable all the way through except for 1 blip against Man Utd. The final was just as simple with a 3-0 win over Preston FA Cup: We thrashed Man City, Swindon and West Ham before losing 1-0 to Arsenal in my 1500th game in my managerial career. Champions League: Group stage was easy enough as usual. Our 1st test came in the 1st Knockout Round against Real Madrid where we managed to scrape through on penalties. The Quarter Final was a little easier as we overcame Man City 3-0 on aggregate. We became complacement in the semis and just managed to scrape a draw in the 1st leg against Feyenoord but thrashed them in the 2nd leg 4-0. The final was close but our quality showed through in the end as we won 1-0 vs Inter in extra time. Only Soares made the Champions League Dream Team which was surprisingly dominated by Inter players ??? Player of the Season Sandro Rose - Due to competition of places he only played 27 games this season but he played extremely well. Soares - 27 goals in 52 appearances not as good as he can be but still top scorer Won Champions League Best Player and came 2nd in English Footballer of the Year, World Footballer of the Year and came 3rd in European Footballer of the Year, European Striker of the Year, Premiership Top Scorer and World Player of the Year. Arkady Yerofeev - His season was hampered by injury but he made the most of the games he did play. Scoring 16 in 32 games. Chris Martin - Just as good as we have come to expect from him Youth Players David Guthrie (YP1) - Made just 1 sub appearance for Everton, looks like he never will nail down a 1st team place Kevin Hill (YP2) - Again struggled with injuries this season but still put in some good performances. Oliver Brown (YP3) - A pretty good debut season for Chelsea 35 games with an average rating 6.91. Chris Lowe (YP4) - Pretty poor season at Tottenham, 36 appearances with an average rating of 6.47 Johnny Drummond (YP5) - A great season and will soon be good enough to get himself a 1st team place. Neil Taylor (YP6) - Very good season with 13 clean sheets in 20 appearances. Finances Project St Albans This time they did not falter and ended up walking the league getting a record 92 points. The cups were pretty poor but I doubt theyll care about that. Transfers - as you can see they went transfer crazy towards the end of the season getting ready for life in a new league. hrbfcrule
June 2033 World Cup Quals (EUR) Group 8: Poland 0-2 Italy A hard fought win despite Poland going down to 10 men before half time. Luigi Sorrentino had already put us ahead in the 31st min. Emanuel Pagano then sealed the 3 points with a goal in the 70th min. World Cup Quals (EUR) Group 8: Italy 5-0 San Marino Expected the heavy win here and got it. Armando Giacomini gave us the lead after just over 1 minute. Matteo Pisani and Alberto De Coster scored 1st half goals to put us 3 up at the break. Thomas Orlando made it 4-0 before Matteo Pisani made it 5. hrbfcrule
Preseason Media Prediction: 2nd Expectations: Title Challenger Title Odds: 3-1 - WTF Southampton Favourites??? Wage Budget: £2,079,649 (£1,485,384) Wage Bill: £1,373,391 (£1,302,832) Transfer Budget: £145,403,178 (£127,718,450) Ticket price: £49.00 (£49.00) Season Ticket Holders: 12691 (12344) Season Ticket Price: £837 (£837) Key: This Season (Last Season) No good youth players in this bunch Transfers Incoming I focused on bringing in youth this season, especially English youth. James Hook (MR, MC) - £3M - Man City - Could be a future star for England if I can help him reach his potential. Gennaro Granata (MC) - £3M - AC Milan - Very high hopes for him his potential is rated as "leading premiership midfielder" and "not far off having the required potential to better than Kevin Hill (YP2)" so I am really excited by him. John Taylor (DM) - £500K - Rushden - Another possible future star of Engalnd and a bargain at just £500K. Outgoing Michele Coletti (ST) - £15.25M - Liverpool - With Fabio Jose and David Mendez now coming of age I had to offload one of my other strikers. Coletti was chosen because he has only had 1 really good season with us. Made 94 league appearances for us scoring 31 goals. Daniel Evans (ST) - £1.9M - Arsenal - They have a thing for my youngsters, my coaches didn't rate him so £1.9M was a great deal. Ryan Lang (MC) - £27.5M - Juventus - With 3 midfielders coming in I decided to offload 1 of them for now, Ryan Lang never really settled here. He made 47 league appearances in his 2 seasons here. Project St Albans League: BSP Media Prediction: 17th Finances: Secure Value: £12M (Loan Debt: £375K) Ticket Price: £11.30 Season Ticket Price: £217 Season Ticket Holders 163 Since they have been promoted to the BSP I could send 4 loan players out there including a few who should rip apart the BSP. Transfers - No big money signings this season after the flurry at the end of last season including Darren Gate who signed on the 11th May for £425K. crouchaldinho
Just catching up with the story....... Also some great news is Liverpool are relegated Not a Liverpool fan then! FA Cup: We thrashed Man City, Swindon and West Ham before losing 1-0 to Arsenal in my 1500th game in my managerial career. How harsh is that. Almost a perfect season as well! Awesome to see St. Albans City winning the league. By 12 points as well! I'm really interested to see what will happen next season as they have spent a lot of money. Are you playing these leagues in full detail by the way? I wonder if that would make a difference? Anyway, great stuff. Keep up the good work! hrbfcrule
Just catching up with the story.......Not a Liverpool fan then! Nope absolutely loathe them How harsh is that. Almost a perfect season as well! Yeah was close to a perfect season but also missed out on the Community Shield. Was also very disappointing to lose my 1500th game I thought my lads might have put in a bit more of an effort for it. Awesome to see St. Albans City winning the league. By 12 points as well! I'm really interested to see what will happen next season as they have spent a lot of money. Just have to hope they can do better than Man City when given loads of money Are you playing these leagues in full detail by the way? I wonder if that would make a difference? Anyway, great stuff. Keep up the good work! I'm not sure what you mean by full detail, I have leagues loaded down to BSS/BSN and this is the detail level page
crouchaldinho
Do you not know about detail levels? If you, for instance, click on 'England' you can see the various options on the right side for each league in England. If you put a league on full detail, it means that the results are calculated in a fuller match mode and you'll therefore be able to see more stats etc. when viewing matches. I am such a mug :o I honestly did not know that. And in answer to your original question all competitions in England are set on "All" except FA Cup which is greyed out on "Main Stages". The Reserves and U18s are on "None" but I have now switched to "All"
hrbfcrule
August 2033 Community Shield: Southampton 0-1 Hampton & Richmond We managed to reclaim our Community Shield crown but not in the most flattering way. Fabio Jose scored the only goal of the game just before half time in one of the few chances of the match. During the 2nd half the game got a bit dirty and Gennaro Granata managed to get himself sent off 34 mins into his debut for us. This left us in a bad position for the last 10 mins of the match but we held on to claim the win. Friendly: Portugal 2-3 Italy A great match for the neutrals but even greater for us as we finally get revenge on them after we were unfortunately beaten by them in the 2032 European Championship and a friendly soon after. Mariano La Rocca gave us the lead in the 25th min but that only lasted 2 mins before Portugal equalised. But it was us who would go into half time with the lead as Francesco Gori netted his 3rd in 3 appearances against the Portuguese. The 2nd half was pretty slow to get going but another Portuguese goal really set it going. But Gori scored again to give us a dramatic 3-2 win. League: Birmingham 0-2 Hampton & Richmond Not a great performance but we did enough for the win. A lapse in concentration proving costly for Birmingham as Reinaldo and Kevin Hill (YP2) scored within 4 mins of each other in the 1st half. League: Hampton & Richmond 3-0 Aston Villa A good start in our 1st home league game. Fabio Jose gave us the lead in the 3rd min, Soares making it 2-0 before half time. Kevin Hill (YP2) sealing the win in the 83rd min to get his 2nd in 2 matches. Euro Super Cup: Hampton & Richmond 2-1 Juventus We continue our unbeaten run in the Super Cup to 4 games now. A flurry of goals late in the 1st half, David Mendez and Arkady Yerofeev gave us a 2-0 lead but Italy striker Emanuel Pagano got 1 back for Juventus. We pushed for another goal to create a 2 goal cushion but in the end had to settle for a 2-1 win. League: Hampton & Richmond 4-0 Man City Man City really seem to be struggling of late, is their money starting to run out? This big win against them showed how far they have fallen. Soares gave us a 2-0 half time lead with 2 goals in 3 mins. Then in the 2nd half 2 more goals in a 3 min period this time by David Mendez and Reinaldo. Man City utterly destroyed and hopefully theyll get relegated soon . League Table Champions League Groups and we have been drawn with Fiorentina, CFR Cluj and CSKA Moscow. We are no longer joint favourites why does everyone hate me
Terk
Just spent the last few hours reading through this, hrbfcrule. Very impressive Was particularly impressed with you not finishing outside the play-offs until your relegation season in the Premier League. Less impressed with Liverpool's relegation last season Keep up the good work
hrbfcrule
September 2033 World Cup Quals (EUR) Group 8: Estonia 0-2 Italy Should have scored more than 2 but it doesn't matter as we continued our streak of wins. Maximiliano De Santis and Mariano La Rocca both scored in the 1st half. World Cup Quals (EUR) Group 8: Italy 3-1 Bulgaria The win that secured our place at the 2034 World Cup but we had to come from behind to do so. Bulgaria sucker punched us in the 5th min but we were soon back on our feet and Claudio Sereni scored twice before half time to put us back on track. In the 2nd half Maximiliano De Santis secured our place with 2 games to spare with a goal in the 76th min. League: Man Utd 1-0 Hampton & Richmond Our 1st goal conceded in the league and unfortunately it came with our 1st loss. Again another even game against Man Utd with neither team really excelling (as it has been for a number of years) but this time they got the luck and managed to finish one of their chances. Champions League Group B: Hampton & Richmond 4-0 CFR Cluj A comfortable win against the Romanian side, Luca Mathys got a hat trick 2 of the goals from the penalty spot. Kevin Hill (YP2) got the other goal, if he can keep injury free this season then i'm sure it will be his best. League: Hampton & Richmond 3-1 Sunderland Back to winning ways in the league, Soares scored form the spot in the 32nd min. David Mendez added a 2nd just after half time, Sunderland did get a goal back late on but Soares squashed any fears of a comeback when he added a 3rd immediately after. League Cup 3rd Round: Brentford p1-1 Hampton & Richmond :o Oops, the kids blundered against the Championship's bottom club. Francesco Gori did give us the lead early on but Brentford withstood loads of pressure and manage to grab an equaliser. We continued to dominate in extra time but Brentford hung on for penalties. They scored all 5 of theirs and Gori missed his sending us out 5-4 on pens. League: Hampton & Richmond 2-0 Bolton Francesco Gori put his penalty miss behind him and scored an early goal to take the lead. Bolton didn't really give themselves a chance when they got a man sent off in the 53rd min. Kevin Hill (YP2) made sure of the points with a goal in the 65th min. Champions League Group B: Fiorentina 1-1 Hampton & Richmond Arkady Yerofeev got us off to the perfect start with a goal after just 41 seconds but just like the Brentford match we pushed for a 2nd but in the end Fiorentina managed to get a shock equaliser. hrbfcrule
Just spent the last few hours reading through this, hrbfcrule. Very impressive Was particularly impressed with you not finishing outside the play-offs until your relegation season in the Premier League. Less impressed with Liverpool's relegation last season Keep up the good work Thanks, yer it was quite an acheivement not finishing outside the playoffs but it had to end sometime. I'm afraid to say Liverpool are struggling in the Championship as well, halfway through the season and they are just outside the playoffs but if its any consolation they are unbeaten against Maidenhead unlike Chelsea who lost 2-0 when they were relegated to the Championship
hrbfcrule
October 2033 World Cup Quals (EUR) Group 8: Finland 1-1 Italy I wanted to get 10 out of 10 wins but we faltered here as we dropped our 1st points of the campaign. Armando Giacomini gave us the lead early in the 2nd half but that was cancelled out with 18 mins to go. World Cup Quals (EUR) Group 8: Italy 2-2 Poland Very disappointing made more so by the performance. We had to twice come from behind to scrape a draw when really we should have cruised it. Matteo Mancini and Michele Coletti getting the 2 equalisers, Coletti's coming in the 90th min. World Cup Quals (EUR) Group 8 League: Newcastle 1-2 Hampton & Richmond Had to come from behind to win this one but it was deservedly so. We were poor for the 1st half an hour and conceded a goal. But that goal kicked us into life as Soares got the equaliser and Kevin Hill (YP2) got the winner. Champions League Group B: CSKA Moscow 0-4 Hampton & Richmond A comfortable win against a weakish side, Reinaldo and Soares gave us a 2-0 lead at half time. 2nd half was more of the same as we outplayed them in every department David Mendez scored a 3rd before Soares got his 2nd of the match. League: Hampton & Richmond 1-1 Wolves After losing to them last season and getting really annoyed we almost repeated the feat this time. We completely dominated but Wolves scored from their only shot on target luckily Martyn Walters spared our blushes with a 93rd min equaliser. League: Southampton 0-2 Hampton & Richmond Extra satisfying as Southampton were made favourites for the league which for some reason I am really annoyed about. David Mendez gave us the lead in the 7th min before Soares sealed the win from the penalty spot in the 2nd half League Table
hrbfcrule
November 2033 Champions League Group B: Hampton & Richmond 2-0 CSKA Moscow This win sealed our qualification to the knockout rounds, Ferriera got us the 1st goal the 35 year old showing no signs of retiring but he really isn't good enough any more to hold down a 1st team place. Xabier Calderon got the 2nd goal in the 2nd half, he may be sold soon due to too much competition for the central midfield role. League: Hampton & Richmond 5-0 West Ham 2 very contrasting halves. It was 0-0 at half time but goals galore in the 2nd half. Ferriera finding some of his form from past seasons by netting twice, Arkady Yerofeev, Luca Mathys and Soares getting a goal each. League: Arsenal 0-2 Hampton & Richmond Gennaro Granata finally puts in a great performance showing everyone what he is capable of. He scored twice in this match to give us the win against a very good Arsenal side. Friendly: Italy 3-2 Saudi Arabia A great game, we deserved the win but Saudi Arabia did put up a great fight. Emanuel Pagano gave us the lead in the 9th min but 6 mins later they were level. Armando Giacomini regained the lead for us in the 23rd min and Alberto De Coster made it 3-1 in the 2nd half. Saudi Arabia fought on and got a goal back but couldn't find an equaliser. Friendly: Italy 0-0 Spain A tight game as you would expect against 2 top nations. We had the better of the possesion and chances but couldn't finish them. Despite the result this match bodes well for the forthcoming World Cup. League: Everton 3-2 Hampton & Richmond Deserved to lose this match, Everton were just about the better side. They took the lead in the 9th min but Soares equalised with half an hour gone. Everton then scored twice more to reach an unsassailable lead before Daniel Torres snatched a consolation in injury time. Champions League Group B: CFR Cluj 0-1 Hampton & Richmond Not as big a margin of victory as I would have liked but I'll take it. Ferriera scored the winner in 1st half injury time. CFR Cluj got a man sent off late on to ruin any chance they had of snatching a point. League: Hampton & Richmond 4-1 Chelsea Loooked like it would be our 2nd league loss in a row when Chelsea took the lead but we turned it round emphatically. Arkady Yerofeev and Soares both scored twice as we ran out easy winners in the end. League Table World Cup Groups have been drawn and we have been handed a potentially tough one with France (29th), Saudi Arabia (34th) and Ivory Coast (25th)

hrbfcrule
nice start to the season. Yeah I'm pleased with it so far December 2033 League: Ipswich 0-6 Hampton & Richmond Absolute thrashing of relegation troubled Ipswich, in truth we could have had at least 8 or 9 but i'll settle for 6. Reinaldo, Johnny Drummond (YP5) and Francesco Gori all scored a goal as well as a Soares hat trick. Champions League Group B: Hampton & Richmond 4-1 Fiorentina We conceded early on but that only spurred us on. Arkady Yerofeev and Francesco Gori both scored twice as we ran rampage against Fiorentina. Champions League Group B League: Hampton & Richmond 4-1 Coventry A fantastic victory which was all set up in the 1st half with Soares getting a hat trick and Gennaro Granata getting the other goal. Coventry got 1 back in the 90th min but only as a consolation. Club World Championship Semi Final: Melbourne Victory FC 0-4 Hampton & Richmond We started off really well with David Mendez scoring within a minute, Soares could have made it 2-0 but he missed from the spot luckily Fabio Jose followed up to score the rebound. Soares did get his goal though as he netted in the 33rd min. John Taylor then added a 4th in the 72nd half. Club World Championship Final: River 3-1 Hampton & Richmond We bottled it again in the final of this competition, River matched us well and managed to get a 2-0 lead with just 10 mins left but Gennaro Granata got 1 back to put us right back in it. That was until 2 mins later when Francesco Gori got himself sent off. River then finished us off with a 3rd goal in the 86th min. League: Sheff Utd 1-6 Hampton & Richmond We continue to increase our lead at the top of the table as everyone immediately below us drop points. Another Soares hat trick and goals from Kevin Hill (YP2), Fabio Jose and Reinaldo sealed another 6 goal win. League: Hampton & Richmond 3-2 Tottenham Really struggled which was surprising as Tottenham are in the relegation zone. Tottenham took the lead but 2 goals from Kevin Hill (YP2) and Fabio Jose gave us the lead. Fabio Jose then scored again in the 81st min to sela the win although Tottenham scored a 2nd in 2nd half injury time. FA Cup 3rd Round: Hampton & Richmond 2-0 West Ham 1st half was poor but we picked it up in the 2nd half and goals from Sandro Rose and Ferriera gave us a deserved win. League Table Project St Albans Mid season update: They are doing extremely well as they sit 5 pts clear at the top of the BSP. They went out in the 1st Round of the FA Cup to Plymouth of League 2. However the FA Trophy is going much better as they are currently in the 4th round and will be playing Crawley who are 2nd in the BSS. Notable preformers have been Darren Gate who they bought for £425K he has 20 goals in 26 appearances. Also my on loan striker Terry Cummins has managed 19 goals in 33 appearances No more major transfers but expect some in January as they will probably already be preparing for League 2. hrbfcrule
Damn you scored some amount of goals that month, doin a chelsea on all there asses Yer I always play attacking football on fm but this season we have been on fire in the goalscoring department mainly thanks to Soares who at the end of December had 23 goals in 23 appearances. January 2034 League: Hampton & Richmond 3-0 Birmingham With Soares absent through injury Luca Mathys took up the goalscoring reins, netting twice in the 1st half to give us a 2-0 lead going into half time. Fabio Jose then added a 3rd early in the 2nd half and if that didn't kill the game off then Birmingham's red card a few mins later did. League: Man City 0-5 Hampton & Richmond An incredible performance and result, we were clinical. Francesco Gori, Kevin Hill (YP2) and Soares all scored in the 1st half before Kevin Hill (YP2) and Soares both scored another in the 2nd half to humiliate City. League: Preston 1-4 Hampton & Richmond We conceded early on through former player Vadim Ionov but in 2 mins the game swung our way. Firstly Luca Mathys got us an equaliser then Preston got a man sent off. We took full advantage of this in the 2nd half with Soares scoring twice and Kevin Hill (YP2) also getting a goal. League: Hampton & Richmond 3-0 Man Utd Another fantastic performance and result. Soares gave us the lead in the 13th min and we sealed the points when Fabio Jose scored twice in 5 mins in the 2nd half. League: Hampton & Richmond 3-0 QPR Another big win but this time Soares didn't get on the scoresheet. Arkady Yerofeev, Gennaro Granata and Fabio Jose each scored a goal as we cruised past QPR. FA Cup 4th Round: Tranmere 2-2 Hampton & Richmond :o Oh dear not only were we held by League 2 Tranmere but we were a minute away from being dumped out the cup by them. Tranmere took a shock lead in the 10th min but James Hook equalised 2 mins later. But Tranmere scored again in the 34th min to give them 2-1 lead at half time. It took us till the 89th min to grab a 2nd equaliser, Gennaro Granata got it as we were moments away from a huge Cupset. League: Hampton & Richmond 1-0 Newcastle We were still reeling from the FA Cup result but when Newcastle got a player sent off Reinaldo managed to get a goal to scrape the win. League: Sunderland 1-3 Hampton & Richmond Still not playing our best football in the 1st half and Sunderland took advantage by taking the lead. But a great comeback thanks to a Soares hat trick saw us win the match and keep our unbeaten streak. These goals also meant Soares had broken H+R's record amount of league goals scored in one season and it's only the end of January . crouchaldinho
Nice work. I like the goals against column as well. As for your news about the St. Albans project, well, all I can say is 'come on you Saints!' Your boys coming to Clarence Park this weekend in real life! Are you going? You did the double over us last season, so I'm hoping it's payback time on Saturday!
hrbfcrule
February 2034 FA Cup 4th Round Replay: Hampton & Richmond 3-0 Tranmere Tranmere held their own up until half time as they managed to stop us scoring until the 47th min. But Soares finally got the breakthrough and another in the 87th min. David Mendez got the other goal. League: Bolton 0-4 Hampton & Richmond Burak Soylemez, Soares and Francesco Gori all scored int he 1st half as Bolton looked dead and buried after just half an hour of play. Gennaro Granata scored the only goal of the 2nd half. League: Hampton & Richmond 3-2 Preston We made a great comeback in this match but should never really got into that position. Somehow after 25 mins Preston were 2-0 up. But Fabio Jose and James Hook both scored at the end of the 1st half. Soares then got the winner in the 2nd half from the penalty spot. FA Cup 5th Round: Arsenal 1-1 Hampton & Richmond Hmmm didn't really want a draw as we are struggling to catch up all our games missed from the CWC. Xabier Calderon gave us the lead after 10 mins but Arsenal equalised before half time and it stayed like that. League: Aston Villa 0-2 Hampton & Richmond Simple win, Fabio Jose and Soares got the 2 goals in the 1st and 2nd half respectively. League: Wolves 0-3 Hampton & Richmond Soares was again on target in this match netting twice with Luca Mathys getting the other goal. Soares has now got 33 league goals the record in a premier league season is 34 (by Andy Cole 93-94, Alan Shearer 94-95 and Angelo Perrotta 15-16). Champions League 1st Knockout Round 1st Leg: Shaktar Donetsk 1-1 Hampton & Richmond Disappointing as our struggle in the cups continue. Shaktar took the lead in the 54th min but Kevin Hill (YP2) equalsied to get the vital away goal. FA Cup 5th Round Replay: Hampton & Richmond 2-3 Arsenal :o Another cup slips out our grasp. Arsenal twice took the lead but David Mendez and Luca Mathys equalised. Before we got a man sent off in the 74th min. Then in the 93rd min Arsenal grab the winner to knock us out of this competition twice in 2 years. If that wasn't enough it was former player Joel Moore who got the injury time winner. hrbfcrule
Nice work. I like the goals against column as well. As for your news about the St. Albans project, well, all I can say is 'come on you Saints!' Your boys coming to Clarence Park this weekend in real life! Are you going? You did the double over us last season, so I'm hoping it's payback time on Saturday! The funny thing is this is one of our best seasons for goals for/goals against. Yet it will be our least successful in recent years in terms of silverware So far the St Albans project is a huge success you are still only the 4th most succesful BSS team (in real life from 10/11 season) in my game. The 3 ahead of St Albans are HRBFC (prem), Maidenhead (Championship) and Bath (League 1). Quick little update: St Albans are in the semi final of the FA Trophy and are now a whopping 21 pts clear at the top of the BSP. I'm afraid I'm not going to the match, have to and see cousins up in Birmingham for the whole weekend. Will be going to the home match vs St Albans though which according to the BBC Website is on the 28th of December. I warn you we are looking much better than last season, last season was a disaster for us due to so many postponed fixtures so we had to release all our good players as we couldn't afford to pay them without the match income. But Devo has done a good job of rebuilding a squad iirc we have about 4 or 5 players who were at the club last season (not including youth players as im not too familiar of them) Are you going? If you are I hope its a good game to watch, my prediction 2-1 to H+R
crouchaldinho
Yes, I'll be there tomorrow. Should be an interesting match. We've got a solid side this season; strongest at the back, industrious in midfield but lacking in the final third unfortunately. I think it'll be a tight game as we both have similar budgets and are probably quite similar sides in some ways. My prediction is 2-1 but to the Saints of course! hrbfcrule
March 2034 Friendly: Italy 3-2 Holland We dominated the 1st half but somehow were still level. Alberto De Coster scoring in the 3rd min before Holland equalised 2 mins later. Maxilmiliano De Santos retook the lead but Holland equalised for a 2nd time. In the 2nd half our superiority finally paid off as Luigi Sorrentino scored the winner. League: Hampton & Richmond 1-0 Arsenal Immediate revenge but I would rather have beaten them in the FA Cup as the league is pretty much a given now. We struggled to break them down and the one chance we did have Soares missed it. But finally in the 89th min Francesco Gori nabbed the winner. League: Hampton & Richmond 4-1 Everton Francesco Gori opened the scoring in the 7th min as we led 1-0 at half time. We caught Everton napping at the start of the 2nd half as Daniel Torres, Soares and Arkady Yerofeev all scored within the opening 15 mins. Everton did get one back a few mins later but the game was over by then. Champions League 1st Knockout Round 2nd Leg: Hampton & Richmond (3) 2-0 (1) Shakhtar Donetsk Closed them out of the game, they didn't manage a single shot on target and with goals from Francesco Gori and Soares we cemented our place in the Quarters. League: Chelsea 1-1 Hampton & Richmond 1st dropped points for 19 matches and we were very unlucky to do so, Chelsea's only shot in the game finding its way into our net. Fabio Jose got a goal back but for all our possesion and chances we couldn't get the winner. League: Hampton & Richmond 4-1 Southampton We wrapped up the league in style against relegation troubled Southampton. Reinaldo and Soares got 2 goals in the 1st half and Francesco Gori and David Mendez adding to that in the 2nd half. Failed to keep a clean sheet as Southampton got a late consolation. League: West Ham 1-2 Hampton & Richmond Arkady Yerofeev and David Mendez got us off to a great start both scoring in the opening 11 mins. But more goals failed to materialise and at times we struggled to contain West Ham especially when they got a goal back. Champions League Quarter Final 1st Leg: Porto 1-3 Hampton & Richmond We caught Porto off guard with a goal right on the stroke of half time, Soares getting it. Then less than a minute into the 2nd half it was 2-0 Arkady Yerofeev scoring it. Porto got a goal back but the win and almost the tie was sealed by Gennaro Granata in the 90th min. hrbfcrule
April 2034 League: Hampton & Richmond 4-2 Ipswich Francesco Gori scored the 1st but we were pegged back by Ipswich 5 mins later. Fabio Jose turned on the style in the 2nd half though, getting a hat trick. Champions League Quarter Final 2nd Leg: Hampton & Richmond (5) 2-2 (3) Porto There were very nervy moments as our slow start saw us concede twice in the opening 30 mins. Thankfully goals from Brazilian duo Soares and Fabio Jose saved us from the loss. League: Coventry 1-3 Hampton & Richmond Arkady Yerofeev gave us the lead within a minute and Soares quickly made it 2-0. Coventry did get a goal back before half time but we were always in control and Fabio Jose added a 3rd to make sure of the 3 pts. Champions League Semi Final 1st Leg: Roma 0-2 Hampton & Richmond It was a very close run game up until the last 10 mins when a brace from Soares gave us the upper hand going into the home leg. League: Hampton & Richmond 2-0 Sheff Utd Not an entirely convincing performance but we got there. David Mendez scored in the 1st half and Francesco Gori added a 2nd in the 67th min. Champions League Semi Final 2nd Leg: Hampton & Richmond (7) 5-1 (1) Roma Just like in the Porto game we started off poorly and we punished with a goal. But we quickly improved, Francesco Gori got the equaliser in the 22nd min. Kevin Hill (YP2) got a hat trick to take the game away from Roma. Arkady Yerofeev finished proceedings with a 5th in the 71st min. League: QPR 1-0 Hampton & Richmond Disappointing but undeserved. This match ends our 26 match unbeaten run in the league and also our 31 league game streak of scoring in every match. League Table - The title may already be decided but there are 5 teams who could be relegated with 1 game left.
hrbfcrule
May 2034 League: Tottenham 0-2 Hampton & Richmond A pretty drab match but for a 6 min period at the start of the 2nd half where both Sandro Rose and Gennaro Granata scored to give us a 2-0 win. Champions League Final: Hampton & Richmond 0-1 Barcelona Gutted we were pretty poor and it has ended up with us losing our 1st Champions League Final. It was a fairly even game with Barca perhaps being the better side but we were dreadful compared to earlier in the season. Overall I would say Barca deserved to win. hrbfcrule
End of Season Summary: Hampton & Richmond, Premiership 2033/34 League: 1st, Champions FA Cup: Lost 1-0 against Arsenal in the 5th Round League Cup: Lost in the 3rd Round on penalties to Brentford. Champions League: Lost in final 1-0 to Barcelona Community Shield: Winners, beating Southampton 1-0 European Super Cup: Winners, beating Juventus 2-1 Club World Championship: Lost in final 3-1 to River League Table, League Graph Squad, Transfers You can tell the league is getting weaker for one Man City have seemed to have lost their financial backing and have therefore slipped down the table. Also 2nd place Man Utd only getting 69 points, you could also argue the league is getting tighter but it is definately getting weaker as shown by the gap between 1st and 2nd. We walked the league and had effectively won it by the New Year due to us having a 15 point gap by the time we had got back from the Club World Championship. We also beat our own record of goals scored in a league campaign which was 103 and is now 108. Soares also broke the record for most goals scored in a premier league season with 36 goals from 36 appearances. Our home record was our main reason for success gaining 18 wins and a draw from the 19 games, Wolves being the only team to take points off us. Again I claimed the Manager of the Year award And we dominated the Premiership Team of the Year with 7 in the starting 11 and 1 sub. Community Shield: We managed to reclaim our Community Shield crown but not in the most flattering way. European Super Cup: We continue our unbeaten run in the Super Cup to 4 games now. League Cup: Very disappointing as we go out at the 1st hurdle to Championship table proppers Brentford. Club World Championship: We bottled it again in the final of this competition, River matched us well and managed to get a 2-0 lead with just 10 mins left but Gennaro Granata got 1 back to put us right back in it. That was until 2 mins later when Francesco Gori got himself sent off. River then finished us off with a 3rd goal in the 86th min. FA Cup: We never looked totally confident in this tournament. A decent win over West Ham was followed by an embarrassing draw at League 2 Tranmere before we finally won the replay, very unconvincingly I might add. Then 2 rather dismal performances against Arsenal and we were deservedly dumped out the cup. Champions League: Group was fairly easy as per usual. We were given a favourable draw to the final which got us Shaktar (won 3-1 on aggregate), Porto (5-3) and Roma (7-1) although we were guilty of complacency in the 2nd legs of the Porto and Roma games. We had a real disappointment in the final as we lost out to Barca but its not the loss that annoys me its the performance, we were dreadful. We only managed to ge one player in the Champions League Dream Team and that was Daniel Torres. The World Team of the Year was more succesful though with Chris amartin, Kevin Hill (YP2) and Soares all making the starting line up. Richard Wilson came 3rd in European Goalkeeper of the Year Player/s of the Season Soares - Our standout player by a mile. Probably the greatest return I've ever had from a striker in one season. He scored 46 in 52 with 19 assists and 20 MOTM awards. If he hadn't gone out of form towards the end of the season he could have even had a goal to game ratio >1. Came 1st in the English Footballer of the Year and Premiership Golden Boot and World Footballer of the Year, 2nd in European Striker of the Year, 3rd in European Footballer of the Year and World Player of the Year. Chris Martin - Went around quietly doing his job, didn't get as much attention as Soares but his performances have not gone unnoticed by me. Another fantastic season from the right back. Came 3rd in European Defender of the Year Kevin Hill (YP2) - \o/ He stayed injury free with the exception of a few 5-6 day injuries anyway. A great season for him probably the best so far. Scoring a goal every 3 games ain't bad for a midfielder. Came 2nd in the English Footballer of the Year and World Footballer of the Year Luca Mathys - Was considering selling him in the summer due to 2 seasons of below average performances but he has really stepped it up this season. He created a formidable partnership with Kevin Hill (YP2) in the centre of midfield. If I had to criticise him for anything it would be his injury proneness he had 5 injuries this season luckily 4 of them were less than a week. Came 1st in English Players' Young Player of the Year. Reinaldo - Has slotted right into the team since joining and at only 21 years of age he is a great prospect for us. Came 2nd in English Players' Young Player of the Year. Youth Players David Guthrie (YP1) - Same old story as he struggled for 1st team appearances at Everton. Kevin Hill (YP2) - See Player of the Season/s section Oliver Brown (YP3) - A pretty poor season at Chelsea but he is still finding his feet at this level. Chris Lowe (YP4) - An awful season at Tottenham, I dont know how they could afford to let him have that many appearances. Johnny Drummond (YP5) - Slowly starting to work his way into the 1st team more due to me selling off a few midfielders. A reasonable season but after all he is only 19. Neil Taylor (YP6) - Has been a very handy 2nd choice keeper and I think he isn't far away from taking over as number one. Finances Project St Albans A hugely succesful season for the Saints as they destroyed the competition in the BSP finishing with a staggering 105 points, 28 points clear from 2nd. Only Hampton & Richmond have scored more points in a single BSP season. However they have won one record of their own by scoring the most goals in a season with 107. Despite this all their players were some way off in the golden boot. But the celebrations don't stop there as they also lifted the FA Trophy beating Sutton Utd 4-1 in the final. They beat Northampton, Wealdstone, Southport, Crawley and Barrow all rather comfortably on their way to the final. Their best player was striker Darren Gate who netted 31 in 43 closely followed by on loan striker Terry Cummins with 24 in 42. hrbfcrule
I'm afraid I'm not going to the match, have to and see cousins up in Birmingham for the whole weekend. Turns out it was just a day trip so I'm back i have a question HRB. i am doing that give youth a challenge and yes its bloddy difficult. i remember you did one with dotshill colts. and i am wondering how much money do you need for your first youth upgrade. i currently have 520k and they refused it??? and help would be appreciated Ah yes I remember that I really wanted to have a proper go at it but my computer is just to rubbish for it. Just looked at my old thread and It looks like I never got the youth facilities upgraded. What are your youth facilities rated as? Becasue according to RichG to get from poor -> average it costs £300k. So really your board should have accepted your request. The only thing I can say is keep making a profit and keep asking at the end of every season I am certain you won't need more than £1M before they get upgraded. How long has it taken you to make a £520K profit? I only managed £230K in 11 seasons Sorry I can't be of more help and good luck it is probably the most difficult challenge in these forums This has got me thinking I may try and do an all youth challenge in one of the less reputable leagues in fm11
hrbfcrule
June 2034 Friendly: Italy 5-1 USA It was an even game up until USA got a red card in the 21st min. Maximiliano De Santis gave us the lead in the 7th min before USA equalised in the 17th min. The red card ruined the game as we ran riot after that. Goals from Francesco Gori, Maximiliano De Santis, Thomas Orlando and Federico De Fabio gave us a massive victory and hopefully a huge confidence booster going into the World Cup. hrbfcrule
World Cup 2034: Group Stage Talk about sitting on the fence, the bookies have named 5 co-favourites: Us, France, Brazil, Argentina and England Group A Consists of England (5th), Iran (59th), Mexico (6th), Switzerland (11th) Switzerland 0-1 Iran Mexico 1-1 England Mexico 0-2 Switzerland England 10-0 Iran - No that is not a typo it actually did happen Iran 3-0 Mexico Switzerland 1-1 England Team P W D L GF GA GD Pts ---------------------------------------------------------------- Q Iran 3 2 0 1 4 10 -6 6 Q England 3 1 2 0 12 2 +10 5 Switzerland 3 1 1 1 3 2 +1 4 Mexico 3 0 1 2 1 6 -5 1 Possibly one of the strangest groups I have ever seen, ok. . . . . . where to begin. Firstly World Cup Holders Mexico go crashing out of the World Cup without winning a game. Not only that but they were also hosting it which makes it even more embarrassing. Now onto Iran who despite being 59th in the World Rankings caused 2 upsets against Switzerland and Mexico but in between those 2 matches they go and lose 10-0!!!!!!!! to England. So Iran manage to top the group with a GD of -6 and conceding 10 goals. Absolutely Crazy Stuff. Group B Consists of Costa Rica (37th), Russia (9th), Turkey (12th) and Uruguay (18th) Uruguay 2-1 Russia Costa Rica 0-2 Turkey Turkey 2-3 Uruguay Russia 5-0 Costa Rica Costa Rica 1-1 Uruguay Turkey 3-2 Russia Team P W D L GF GA GD Pts ---------------------------------------------------------------- Q Uruguay 3 2 1 0 6 3 +3 7 Q Turkey 3 2 0 1 7 5 +2 6 Russia 3 1 0 2 7 5 +2 3 Costa Rica 3 0 1 2 1 8 -7 1 Not quite as much action as Group A but thats pretty much impossible. Although Russia were another big casualty of the group stage. Uruguay and Turkey do look quite good on the attack but to be fair this isn't the toughest group. Group C Consists of France (25th), Italy (4th), Ivory Coast (29th), Saudi Arabia (50th) France 2-0 Ivory Coast Saudi Arabia 0-4 Italy A comfortable win although the scoreline flatters us a bit. Francesco Gori's early goal was key to stop them thinking an upset was on. Gori scored again to make it 2-0 before half time and effectively give us 3 points. In the 2nd half we were much worse but still managed to score twice more, Luigi Sorrentino and Riccardo Amato getting the 2 goals. Italy 2-1 France Again we have been drawn in the same group as France. Despite them being low in the rankings I was very wary of them as I know they still have a very strong side and have been underperforming recently. The 1st half was very tight but we came out the better when Maximiliano De Santis grabbed himself a goal in the 42nd min. France came out the blocks much better than us and managed to get an equaliser because of it, from a penalty. Despite the game being even we managed to nick the winner thanks to Francesco Gori's 30 yard strike 15 mins from full time. Ivory Coast 1-1 Saudi Arabia Italy 3-0 Ivory Coast Job done within 33 mins. Emanuel Pagano, Matteo Mancini and Thomas Orlando scored a goal each which seemed very harsh on Ivory Coast as it was our 1st 3 shots of the game. The 2nd half was pretty poor as we just kept possesion and defended to stop Ivory Coast mounting a comeback. Saudi Arabia 0-3 France Team P W D L GF GA GD Pts ---------------------------------------------------------------- Q Italy 3 3 0 0 9 1 +8 9 Q France 3 2 0 1 6 2 +4 6 Ivory Coast 3 0 1 2 1 6 -5 1 Saudi Arabia 3 0 1 2 1 8 -7 1 What you would expect in this group the 2 favourites comfortably going through. Ivory Coast will be a bit disappointed with how their World Cup went. Group D Consists of Algeria (10th), Brazil (8th), Japan (46th), Ukraine (15th) Algeria 0-6 Brazil Ukraine 1-1 Japan Algeria 1-0 Ukraine Japan 0-3 Brazil Japan 3-2 Algeria Ukraine 0-0 Brazil Team P W D L GF GA GD Pts ---------------------------------------------------------------- Q Brazil 3 2 1 0 9 0 +9 7 Q Japan 3 1 1 1 4 5 -2 4 Algeria 3 1 0 2 3 9 -6 3 Ukraine 3 0 2 1 1 2 -1 2 Another shock in this group as the underdogs, Japan, shocked Algeria and Ukraine to grab the 2nd spot. Great News for me as we play them in the next round. Brazil look very good defensively not conceding a goal yet, a very different style to when I was managing them. Group E Consists of Australia (34th), Austria (31st), Nigeria (19th) and Spain (3rd) Austria 0-2 Australia Spain 0-1 Nigeria Australia 0-1 Spain Nigeria 1-1 Austria Australia 1-0 Nigeria Austria 0-0 Spain Team P W D L GF GA GD Pts ---------------------------------------------------------------- Q Australia 3 2 0 1 3 1 +2 6 Q Nigeria 3 1 1 1 2 2 +0 4 Spain 3 1 1 1 1 1 +0 4 Austria 3 0 2 1 1 3 -2 2 Another big shock here as Spain get dumped out the competition on goals scored. Overall a very low scoring group compared to the others (There were more goals in Engalnd's match against Iran than all the goals in this group ). Australia were the team to take Spain's place but they don't look too strong I think it was more luck that got them through the group. Group F Consists of Argentina (2nd), Cameroon (13th), Holland (20th) and USA (24th) Holland 1-1 USA Cameroon 0-5 Argentina Cameroon 0-1 Holland Argentina 1-0 USA Holland 1-2 Argentina USA 2-1 Cameroon Team P W D L GF GA GD Pts ---------------------------------------------------------------- Q Argentina 3 3 0 0 8 1 +7 9 Q USA 3 1 1 1 3 3 +0 4 Holland 3 1 1 1 3 3 +0 4 Cameroon 3 0 0 3 1 8 -7 0 Argentina walked the group but more interesting is USA and Holland fighting for 2nd place. They both had same points, same goals and it was 1-1 between them. Therefore FM must have done a coin toss which broke Dutch hearts as they were sent home in the unluckiest circumstances (although if they had performed better than they wouldn't have been in this position;)). To rub salt into the wounds apparently Argentina's winning goal against Holland was from a very controversial penalty. Group G Consists of Germany (1st), Greece (26th), Senegal (28th), South Korea (22nd) Germany 3-0 Senegal South Korea 1-2 Greece Senegal 0-1 South Korea Greece 0-1 Germany Greece 3-1 Senegal South Korea 1-2 Germany Team P W D L GF GA GD Pts ---------------------------------------------------------------- Q Germany 3 3 0 0 6 1 +5 9 Q Greece 3 2 0 1 5 3 +2 6 South Korea 3 1 0 2 3 4 -1 3 Senegal 3 0 0 3 1 7 -6 0 The current World Number 1s look ruthless as they go through the group with a 100% record one of 4 teams to do so. The other place was up for grabs and all the other teams had an equal chance of getting it. Group H Consists of Chile (33rd), Honduras (35th), Serbia (14th), South Africa (48th) Chile 2-0 Honduras South Africa 0-4 Serbia Honduras 0-1 South Africa Serbia 3-0 Chile Serbia 2-0 Honduras South Africa 0-2 Chile Team P W D L GF GA GD Pts ---------------------------------------------------------------- Q Serbia 3 3 0 0 9 0 +9 9 Q Chile 3 2 0 1 4 3 +1 6 South Africa 3 1 0 2 1 6 -5 3 Honduras 3 0 0 3 0 5 -5 0 I shall name this group the Group of Life due to the fact it is one of the weakest groups I have seen. Despite this Serbia do look pretty good so I won't underestimate them. On to the Knockout Stages . . . . . . .
crouchaldinho
Saints in the Football League. Is it sad that I am actually excited about that happening, even though it is in your save?
crouchaldinho
1-1 draw today between the Beavers and the Saints at Clarence Park. It was a very dull game in all honesty. Both sides were poor but you were the better of the two teams and should probably have won it.
