I think that this year the only trophy i MAY see is the league cup. disgusting start to the League. I don't understand. I had heard that many new faces disturb the harmony, but not that much. My squad is worth more than Man City's and i still can't win :(

I find only adding 1-2 players a season really helps. I like to add younger players and maybe one that will play most games to keep a good 80%+ form the previous season. I do this especially in the first season to keep good harmony.

I very rarely sign more than 4-5 in a season and like i said most of them will be youth tallent. My Italian Legacy game only saw 2 players come in on the deadline and 1 player leave and we have gone off like a rocket this season and morale and harmony is excellent.

If your squad is worth more than Man City then i would say you have a very good foundation so only look to add 1-2 key players next season and give them a chance. Maybe 1-3 long term youth additions will give a nice balance

Also have you done your training setup? I find this key also to getting more out of your players than the general setup.

I don't believe it! I really needed a good result in the EPL so my team could start reversing the situation. so i go into the match against Wolves without paying much attention around... After beating them 5-0, i was excited about the prospect of the beginning of a fightback... Until i saw that the game was for the league cup...! still good but...

that is a lot of transfers mate. I would do no where near that many unless i do a multi player game with my mate who insists we have loads of cash to start with .

When i play on my own i like to take the time to bring in the right players.

I am probably an over analyser and go into great detail with my signings two player games do not give you this luxury.

After i have created my tactic I then look at what i have asked my players to do in each position and then create attribute filters around these requirements. I usually specify 10 main attributes for each position as critical to success. Then depending on division I state what stats and matches i need. i.e if playing a low club i may go for 8-9 attribute matches of around 8-9/20 for each stat. This ensures the players you sign do what you want.

Better to sign a £100k player that fits than a £10m waste of money. The other stats then become luxuries. Things like Free kicks, Flair, Aggression etc which become the second level of analysis. If two players have the same rating on main stats then look deeper into the second level to decide who to sign.

I then profile all my players and give them a rating and best position based on % out of 100% on the 200 stats for the 10 key attributes. i.e. 150/200 = 75% so example

John Smith [7.5] (MLC)

For their name so i can track scouted players and possible good signings and know instantly who to check. Always keep scouting players yearly for changes and re profile good young players and track developments.

Takes time to do the ground work but works well for me :)

mizuiro is called (the skin)

as for the transfers, i agree but if you aim at the CL and EPL you need the best ones! Not a lot of my transfers aevery year make it in the squad. i need reserve one, sub ones and to loan out ones!

I had a game like tat in my Save

I was 2-0 up after 29 mins ten had to make 2 subs due to injury. I then went 3-2 dwn as a result. Got back to 3-3 then 3 more got injured so only had 9 fit players on the pitch  I then lost 4-3 at the very end.

I could have thrown the PC out the window.

Not my worst throw away though

In an old FM I was Celtic away at Dundee Utd and was 5-1 up with 25 mins to go and los 6-5 in the last minute  had a man sent off then an injury put mme down to 9 men and nothing i could do LOL

I have at least one game a season like that

The league is going great. If i could bet i would say that i will finish 2nd. there are chances for 1st and 3rd but Chelsea is dominating this year

Also, i don't see any way that i would lose the Europa league this year as i am already in the 2nd knock out round against Olympiakos and i won away. Milan , Atletico Madrid and Arsenal are the only teams that can stop me this year!
