Mark Owen of Take That also once pulled on the red shirt of Chadderton FC! They reside in Tier 10 of Super Blademan's challenge in the North west counties league Paul Buckley, with his assistant Derek Ogden, joined Chadderton FC as manager in December 2005. Since then the Clubs fortunes have taken a turn for the better on the field. Chadderton finished in 5th position in 2006/2007 - the highest position for over a decade and in 2007/2008 Chadderton again achieved 5th place and reached the semi finals of both the League and Division Cup. In the 2008-2009 season Chadderton finished in mid-table. A quarter-final appearance against League Newcomers and Favourites AFC Liverpool ended in a tight 3-2 defeat. That came after beating League Winners Bootle 2-1 in the previous round. Off the field in 2007, the Club was the subject of a take-over by local businessmen Craig Halliwell and Tony Bhatti, the joint owners of The HB Property Group Limited (previously The Halliwell Bhatti Group) which is the parent company of the local property development company Hillstone Developments Limited. The members of Chadderton voted overwhelmingly in October 2006 for the take-over to go ahead and after 10 long months the legalities were finally completed in August 2007. In August 2009 Chadderton’s association with The HB Property Group Limited was terminated and Chadderton Football Club reverted to a members club run by the people for the people. I will only do Season updates as there easier to follow. I picked Chadderton FC because its my home town where i was born in Oldham, i live in Bolton now but being called Mark Chadderton also it makes sense I'm not sure where i will get, but playing this save will defo be my favourite. Fountain of youth
2009-2010 Season This is the first time I've played leagues this low and found this season quite easy, but i suppose thats expected in the first few seasons in Amateur. I was top of the league till the penultimate game which i lost to the eventual champions, i secured play-offs place on the last day of the season. My Play-off game was a close one, i was 1/33 odds on before hand, but was 1-0 down with 20 Min's to go then i got 2 penalties inside 10 minutes and i was relieved to win 2-1 in the end. It wasnt a good year in any of the cups, not getting past the 2nd round of any! Nobby_McDonald
Well done on promotion. 1/3 second favourites? That's impossible, there can't be two that are odds on.

Fountain of youth
Season 2010-2011 Currently in my 3rd season heres my 2nd season info. Not much difference in quality and found most games easy to win again, I'm guessing they get hard after a few promotions, as ive just been Promoted again and im 2nd favourites for the league next season as well. I think i may find it harder next season we will see. Like my first season i was top most of the way only to finish 2nd and settled for a play-off place, Which was very one-sided, 8-1 it finished. Play-offs will be harder next season as i think there 2-5th and a semi-final where first 2 seasons were just one game against someone from another league. Its easy to see where i'm going wrong if you look at GS and GA, defo need a decent DC or two for next season. I have not spent anything since i took over, though i am paying a couple of part-time wages, my balance has rose from 1k to 87k. Cup reports Went out in round one of every cup, again a terrible effort. Fountain of youth
Just noticed your name. It reminds me of when Wolfgang Wolf was manager of Wolfsburg. Early 2000s wasn't it? Yup i'm Mark Chadderton, i once lived on Chadderton road and went to North Chadderton school was quite confusing I also played for Chadderton juniors, but left for boundary park/Oldham Then discovered girls and other teenage things
Fountain of youth
Season 2011-2012 Another promising start was ruined by a poor performance in my last 4 games taking just 1 point from 12 and dropping to 6th place, missing out on the play-offs by 1 point, again i was the leagues top scorers, but with one of the worst defenses i'm not gonna go up, really need to work on that, maybe my tactics have to much freedom. I did fair a bit better in the cups, but no wins. so no 3rd time lucky on promotions Player of the season - Only 17, great first year for the lad http://img411.imageshack.us/img411/7365/chadif.jpg Cup reports - FA Cup - 3rd Qualifying round FA Trophy - 1st qualifying round Northern league challenge cup - Quarter finals Manchester premier cup - Semi-finals Manager win % overall Season 1,2,3 Games played - 141 Games won - 68 Games drawn - 35 Games lost - 38 Win percentage - 48.23 ********************************************* Elsewhere in the world - Prem champions - Chelsea, Runners up - Arsenal Championship - Stoke League 1 - Notts county League 2 - Oldham Athletic Champions league- Real madrid (penalties) Runners up - Man united Euro cup- Liverpool ****************************************************************** World team of the year http://img718.imageshack.us/img718/8692/chadi.jpg World player of the year - Lionel Messi Season League Position Achievements 2009-2010 NWC Division 1 2nd Promoted via play-offs 2010-2011 NWC Premier 2nd Promoted via play-offs 2011-2012 Northern PL D1 6th None Trophys won: Manager rep -Unproven
Fountain of youth
Season 2012-2013 ************* Champions ************* A much better season than last year with a solid performance in the league, winnning by quite a few points in the end, i sent my scouts out in pre-season looking for defenders and they come back with a couple who made a huge difference, i only conceded 39 this season and scored more also, which is where i went wrong last year. I also scored 80 goals, I'm 3/1 for the Premier Premier next season, if i can get up ill be in the Blue square north division and on the up, defo a harder season next year. My balance is nearly 100k now and improving, but wages are coming in more and more so will have to keep an eye on it. Fountain of youth
Season 2013-2014 Heartache Play-off Semi final defeat It was going great most of the season swapping between 1st and 2nd place, but once again a terrible finish to end up in the play-offs where i was battered 1-3 by Altrincham. Farsley ended up beating them 1-0 in the final to go up as play-off winners. (Gutted!) It was probably the best i had played and was confident of going up, but i did win my first 2 play-offs so cant complain too much. I also got to the FA Cup 2nd round which was not bad, 1 more round and i could of drawn man united, but i got thumped 0-6 by Wealdstone Cup reports - FA Cup - 2nd Round FA Trophy - 2nd qualifying round Northern league challenge cup - 2st round Manchester premier cup - 1st Round Manager win % overall Season 1-5 Games played - 245 Games won - 123 Games drawn - 56 Games lost - 66 Win percentage - 50.20% ********************************************* Elsewhere in the world - Prem champions - Man city, Runners up - Man united Championship - Portsmouth League 1 - Sheff Wed League 2 - Leyton Orient Champions league- Inter (penalties) Runners up - Arsenal Euro cup- Man united ****************************************************************** World team of the year - http://img718.imageshack.us/img718/7673/chadig.jpg World player of the year - Lionel Messi Season League Position Achievements 2009-2010 NWC Division 1 2nd Promoted via play-offs 2010-2011 NWC Premier 2nd Promoted via play-offs 2011-2012 Northern PL D1 6th None 2012-2013 Northern PL D1 1st Champions 2013-2014 Northern PL PL 4th None Trophys won: Northern PL D1 Title Manager rep -Unproven
Fountain of youth
Season 2014-2015 *************************** Champions *************************** After last seasons play-off heartache we bounced back to win the league by 7 points, The team really is on the up and while others may have moved up quicker Chadderton FC are moving. A road to knowhere? One thing im finding a hard is holding on to my best players, maybe soon i will get took over and ill be able to keep players. The quality i will be facing will start to get harder now, im expecting tougher seasons, but my wages are low and my bank balance is a healthy 140k. I also won my first cup this season, was only the Manchester county cup but its there. Next season I am in the Blue square North division cant wait.
