Decided to keep as agyemang would have been about my 4th or 5th best striker and turner is my 1st choice centre back. Gave him the captains armband as well. Gallagher - £10k - Norwich (GK) P. Edwards - £110k - Millwall (GK) N. Bazarite - Loan - Arsenal (AMC) I really should of done this with the game open but ah well, i'm in 6th after around 31 games. I'll put up more accurate stuff tomorrow. Fraizer Campbell is leading my scoring charts followed by Stancu. A few players wont sign new contracts despite being 6th in the league...my main worry is John Welsh as he's being performing well but wont accept £8k a week. In fact most players say..."not willing to negotiate...evaluating all options available" anyone else had this problem or am i just a terrible manager lol? Will wait until end of season then try to sign them up then. Next year i've of Bouzanis and Luis Jiminez coming in...Bouzanis on a year long loan and jiminez for £1mil + 500k after promotion. I think i need a better goalkeeper and another AMC...any ideas? As said i will post my squad/formation etc tomorrow but any general suggestions or players welcome. I decided to use my scouts A LOT in this game, and i've signed a fair few players they've found. All of them playing well so i'm going to continue that strategy. I finished 7th in the first season, in a play-off spot until the last day of the season, missed out by a point. But i don't think we were equipped to go up. My Record this season: Pld - Won - Drawn - Lost - GF - GA - GD - Pts 10 6 2 2 21 11 +10 20 I'm a point above Hull City rejects (Bristol City, they have 4 ex-Tigers in there team!) with a game in hand And just to note - Man City, Fulham and Derby were relegated. Even though i was sad to lose Torje to Arsenal and Stancu to Barca...in the deals were friendlies which bring in about £350k each. I played Arsenal in pre-season and they played a full strength team and i lost 3-1. not too bad, i've lost by more when i was a prem team lol. Any suggestions on where to improve? Other then that, how much is your budget? Try filtering on the search for positions and stats you want...eg Tackling, Marking, Jumping, Heading etc for your CB at 15+. He was worth £2.8 mil so i asked them for all for £4 mil + 20% + friendly and he chose barca over chelsea (made me love him even more ). Anyway, major clearout as I sold players off poor qualities or players who couldn't perform well. Sold: Stresik (I thought he was a bargain, but didn't play well; yet he is quite a good investment, earned 3 mil from the transfer!), Chalwe (earned 2mil), Nengomashe (Earned 1 mil) Pizarro went back to Chelsea and this time round I got Manucho on loan. I signed Hameur Bouazza from Fulham, and oh can't believe he's a backup for Fulham! Definitely mid-table quality. And Fulham's in championship! Also signed John Halls on a free, tried to offload the van Zanten who couldn't play well but no one's interested. I signed McLean, Jorge (an AM) and now my squad looks like: GK Isaksson, Lomaia, P.Edwards DR Hinds, Halls, van Zanten DC Vidal, Hinds, McLean, Samardzic DC Same as above DL Matt Hill, Kuban CM Ropotan, Livermore AMC Jimenez, Niculae AMC Mihelic, Jorge AMC Wallace, Alanzinho FC Manucho, Niculae FC Bouazza, Agouda Some 'extra' players that I don't need include Soley, Lomaia, van Zanten. My tactic is a 4-1-3-2 that scores a lot of goals: won Wigan 5:1, Middlesbrough 4:3 but concedes plenty. Cool now i'm a world class manager Anyway, I sold Jimenez (2 years left on contract and he's not signing one) for 25 mil. I signed Micheal Johnson on a cheap and Ryan Babel cheap as well (both less than 1 mil). I signed Gourcuff to replace Jimenez.
