An error file has been generated in: MY-PC/C:/Users/*User name*/My documents/Sports interactive/Football Manager 2009/Crash Dumps" I keep getting it when i load games and when i make a new game aswell. englandmanager
bad HD sectors come to mind uninstall fm09, delete all sub folders and save games (usually found in my documents section) run ckdsk to scan and repair all bad sectors of hd (be warned checkdisk can take a while to finish depending on how bad it is) re-install fresh fm09 hope this helps, i used to suffer from loads of crash dumps until i sorted out my HD
rinso
ummm that was directed at the OP actually.... try this though... One reason could be that your Cache files have become corrupted and deleting them will fix the issue. To do this follow either of these paths depending on your Operating System. Windows XP: C:\Users\<User Name\App Data\ Vista: C:\Users\<User Name>\App Data\Roaming Once you can see inside those folders delete the Sports Interactive Folder. If you can’t see those folders you will have to make “Hidden” files viewable. For Vista: In a window, go to 'Organize'->'Folder and Search Options'->'View'-> and select 'Show hidden files and folders'. For XP: Make sure you are able to see hidden folders: When in a window, go to 'Tools'->'Folder Options'->'View'-> and make sure 'Show hidden files and folders' is selected. Vic Taylor
I think this is the answer. Not a 100% mind, but it's worth a shot. There was a post last year and another guy had the same problem. SI pointed him towards this: http://community.sigames.com/showthread.php?t=82282 Hope it helps!
