As part of an interesting year for football, the english FA have been slated for thier recent move to "spice" things up even more in the english leagues. the FA have introduced a new scoreing system to be used straight away (using FRMTeditor and ADDM '10 updates). so, this season the new scoreing format is as follows,

Win - 5 points

Draw - 2 points

Loss - 0 points

In every game there will be bonus points

Most possesion - 1 point

No cards - 1 point

clean sheet - 1 point

4 or more goals - 1 point

Ill be taking charge of the mighty Staines town, ill keep updates posting and lets see how it goes :)

Staines vs Eastleigh

A very sketchy match at Wheatsheef Park today ended in an opening day 0-0 draw. only 3 shots on target all match resulted in the stalemate.

elsewhere no bonuses for heavy scoring.

p.s. reports will be much better but i just wanted this to get off the ground, ill post tables after match day 5

Match Day 2

Staines vs Bath

A very good away showing by Staines town today ended in defeat at the hands of Bath 2-1. Star striker Elliot Onochie equalised in the second half after Bath's Darren Edwards scored from the spot as early as the 7th minute. Lewis Hogg won the game in the 91st minute in front of 705 spectators at Twerton park.

Only after 2 games Chelmsford city have amassed 15 points and are the early leaders in the blue square south. Braintree are just behind on 14 while st Albans and maidenhead are on one point and at the bottom thanks to the new possession bonus point. Staines have slipped into the relegation zone after an unlucky but undisciplined start to the campaign.
