Squad Planner Report does not display players currently on Trial at the club

I'm not sure if this by accident or design, but it appears that it's by design because you can add these players manually. 

Go to [Add] near the top right corner. 

And then [Senior Squad] and then [Best suited players] and you will be able to manually add the players from that position not already on the list. 

You might also need to do this for players in the B Team or U19 Team too, because these also aren't included even when you tick these boxes. 

You can also add players from your shortlist in exactly the same way. 

After working out how to do the above, this is what mine looks like now. 

The white players are players contracted to the club.
The green players are in on trial. 
The orange players are not at the club but are on the shortlist.

I would prefer that the filters work accurately so that you can add them on mass, (and then remove them 1 by 1 if needed), because although this is a decent workaround, it really is laborious. 

This is by design as a trialist is not fully your player yet. You can add them to your squad planner yourself if you want to see how they match up. Hope this was helpful, thank you.

Hi! Amateur players are not displayed either, which is a bit annoying when playing in the lower leagues. Is this by design too?

That one is not by design but is something we are aware of. You should still be able to manually add those players to the planner though.

Yes, they are not fully a player yet, but a big part of a trialist is to see how they stack up against the rest of the players on your team. Isn't that the point of the squad planner? Maybe as a dropdown option for the add button. 

One of your most popular FM players also has this issue.
