The promoted and relegated teams in the 2nd Bundesliga from the last 2 years are shown in the game. Same in the Bundesliga.

Even though it's only 2. Bundesliga, but here we go...

    1. FC Kaiserslautern:

I found some minor issues with FCKs youth players

Mert Basar name is Mert Baser

Yashin Zor name is Yasin Zor.

Furthermore Gery Ehrmann - one of the better Goalkeeper coaches in the game - is missing in Kaiserslautern's coaching staff, while in reality he is one of the FCKs goalkeeper coaches.

Would be nice to see this reflected ingame.

Hi there, here are my yearly suggestions for improvement for the data of VfB Stuttgart.

    Objectives and finances:

I started a save and the objective is to finish in the upper half of the table. Due to the amazing start into the season in real-life this year it should be the goal now, but before the season the communicated objective clearly was avoiding relegation battle(source:https://sport.sky.de/fussball/artikel/bundesliga-vfb-stuttgart-startet-vorbereitung-hoeness-gibt-saisonziel-bereits-aus/12916145/34128).

The balance is with 80M€ to high imo. Stuttgart has financial struggles since years. Their equity was 11M€ in 2022( I'm not a finance expert so I don't know how compareable that is, source: https://www.vfb.de/de/vfb/aktuell/neues/club/2023/finanzzahlen-2022/). Since the 2019/2020 season Stuttgart earned 230M€ and spent 90M€ which means they made the tenth most profit in this time worldwide(source:https://www.transfermarkt.de/transfers/einnahmenausgaben/statistik/plus/0?ids=a&sa=&saison_id=2019&saison_id_bis=2023&land_id=&nat=&kontinent_id=&pos=&altersklasse=&w_s=&leihe=&intern=0&plus=0). They need money from sales every year and reinvest less, so I would reduce the available money after sales to 50%.

    Staff:

-Günther Kern isn't a fitness coach anymore, he left the club when Labbadia got sacked in April

-Günther Schäfer is not an assistance coach. He is the team manager and supports the players with topics off the pitch.

-Amdom Ghebru isn't a scout anymore, he left the club in 2022. His successor is Paul Tolasz, who is responsible for scouting youth players.(https://www.transfermarkt.de/paul-tolasz/profil/trainer/35691)

-Malik Fathi is an assistance coach since summer. (https://www.transfermarkt.de/malik-fathi/profil/trainer/69978)

-The new headcoach from Stuttgart II ist missing. It is Markus Fiedler, who got promoted after 3 amazing seasons as head coach of Stuttgarts U17. His start with Stuttgart II this season was very good. They're first in Regionalliga and Fiedler is considered to be a very good coach talent. His playstyle is quite offensive with high pressing, flat and brave build-up, and he mainly plays with a 3-4-2-1 formation. (https://www.transfermarkt.de/markus-fiedler/profil/trainer/20482)

-Heiko Gerber isn't an assistance coach for Stuttgart II anymore. He is now coach of Stuttgarts women team.

-the new assistance coaches from Stuttgart II since summer are Oliver Barth and Tomislav Zaric. https://www.transfermarkt.de/oliver-barth/profil/trainer/51031https://www.transfermarkt.de/tomislav-zoric/profil/trainer/116154

-Steffen Kocholl isn't an U19 assistance coach since 2022.

    Youth players:

-Maximilan Herwerth isn't a striker, he is a central defender. He should be rated quite high as he is in training with Stuttgarts first team regurlarly and also played in a friendly against Wiesbaden last week.

-Christopher Olivier is also not a striker. He is a midfielder and can play as CDM, CM and CAM. He also should be rated a bit higher overall as he got promoted to Stuttgarts U19 last season although he was a U17 player.

-The stats from Moussa Cisse looks like he is a quite defensive fullback but the opposite is the case. He is a rapid and offensive wingback, who does a lot of runs on the wing per game. 4 assists in 10 games as a wingback in Regionalliga proves that.

-Luca Raimund is considered to be the fastest player in Stuttgarts youth academy, so his pace should be 15 or even more. He also was in the Bundesliga squad a few times and is called to make the next step there soon. (Source: https://www.zvw.de/vfb-stuttgart/raul-paula-und-luca-raimund-zwei-vfb-talenteauf-der-überholspur_arid-721894)

-Florian Hellstern is missing. He is an exceptional GK talent and appeared in some wonderkids prediction for FM 24. Hellstern made his U17 Bundesliga debut with 14 and his U19 Bundesliga debut with 15. He is Stuttgarts U17 captain and also had some caps for their U19 last season. Hellstern is Germanys U17 GK and turned 16 this weak so it should be permitted to add him. (https://www.transfermarkt.de/florian-hellstern/profil/spieler/1009438).

-Yanik Spalt is also missing. He joined from AKA Vorarlberg this summer. In Austria he is considered as a top talent. He was part of the ÖFB perspective camp as youngest player, where Austrias coach Ralf Rangnick nominates the best talents from the country to get a look at them(source:https://www.transfermarkt.at/rangnick-nominiert-kader-fur-zweiten-ofb-perspektivlehrgang/view/news/425232). Spalt played for Stuttgarts U19 in pre season, but isn't allowed to play in league matches yet due his transfer as minor foreigner. https://www.transfermarkt.de/yanik-spalt/profil/spieler/960462

No problem to put this here (unless if someone creates a new discussion thread - but that's for later.)

Thanks for this, will look to amend Mert Baser and Yasin Zor for future releases.

Can you please provide more information for Gery Ehrmann? (or if you see other issues regarding staff) - we'd definitely like something like a date of birth, year of birth - usually Transfermarkt does suffice or a LinkedIn page as well.

They will not appear in FM24 at all - including the winter update. The winter update keeps the same starting date, which means they will be 15 at the start of the game and we only allow this with exceptions.

We will look into Degener and Schwarz, but I haven't come around to  checking this yet. I'm logging off for today :kriss:

I will tag @Fire_03 for the youth players and information.

I will check the other VfB Stuttgart information tomorrow - thanks for raising this!  Note - we do have the media prediction set to 15th
In the meantime, before I come back - which game variant are you playing for VfB to have 80 million?

I started an original save. To clarify: not the transfer budget was 80 million, the bank balance in the finance section is 80 million.

A German Player from Zwickau is missing in the game

William Hartling 17  He plays for the U19s and trains with the first team,he is an very good talented player.

He only plays in the 4 division but he is very talented and I hope we can see him in the full Game

    Thanks.

Quick tip. Check in ORDB the last rankings of the clubs in the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga, because they are mostly still wrong and that's where this error comes from.

Could you please provide the missing Leverkusen staff from this list? Because most of them are already in the database and if one of them is missed but created, we must take a further look to resolve this issue.

    Thanks in advance.

As far as I can see, Michael Nwafor and Dieter Schreiber are not in the database, while Torben Gurtmann and Benni Schunk (there is no birthdate or at least birth year) will not appear in the game because they are Academy Scouts.

Thanks, this is under review now, and I will give some feedback on it too

    • -Günther Schäfer is not an assistance coach. He is the team manager and supports the players with topics off the pitch.

There is no role as a team manager in FM, so he is set as a coach or will not appear in the game at all.

    • -The new headcoach from Stuttgart II ist missing. It is Markus Fiedler, .........

Could you please provide at least his year of birth? We will not create any staff from any team without having at least the correct birth year.

As far as I can see, there are no positions added for the mentioned Youth players.

    • -Christopher Olivier is ......

In my opinion (and I am the Head Researcher for Austria too), the current CA for Christopher Olivier is high enough. He only played 4 games out of 7 in this season with a total of 348 minutes (55% playing time).

    • -Luca Raimund is ....

Also, his CA should fit well to him. I can't see any reason to change his CA now. Keep it in mind and have a discussion on him, as well as Olivier´s, in the winter break.

    • -Florian Hellstern is missing.
    • -Yanik Spalt is also missing.

    Too young for the game

I think Eintracht Frankfurt has way too less money. The transferbudget in the first season is 5 mio and their balance is 10 mio. They made a transferplus of  85 mio with Kolo Muani.

    2 things I noticed:

I think Boniface CA is too weak. Schick is starting ahead of him and Boniface in general does not really perform close to real life.

Stuttgart is performing very bad, the main reason could be Nübel, I think he should get a higher CA. his stars are on the same level like Bredlow. In real life Nübel is Stuttgarts 3rd best player(according to kicker grades).

Stuttgart are overperforming. It's also not realistic to give them the 2nd best squad just because they are in fact currently 2nd. They were expected to battle against relegation before the season, maybe midtable - and after some recent improvments that's where they ought to end up (in game)

Boniface has been rated by the Belgian research team - and generally we don't really like to make big changes to players until after they are settled / it's clear which kind of impact they have etc.

We kind of overstepped our boundaries already and did improve him - but yes, currently - also based on previous experience - we have Schick rated higher than Boniface - which is something that we'll need to monitor as the season progresses

    Thank you for answering.

Günther Schäfer: Then he should not appear in the game as he has nothing to do with anything coaching related.

Markus Fiedler: I linked his Transfermarkt profil with all relevant information (https://www.transfermarkt.de/markus-fiedler/profil/trainer/20482).

Edit: oh I see there is no birthdate, sorry. He was born at 6th February 1986 in Leonberg. (source behind paywall: https://www.stuttgarter-zeitung.de/inhalt.vfb-stuttgart-ii-gegen-stuttgarter-kickers-dieses-derby-passt-zur-glueckseligen-stimmung-in-der-stadt.ff5f26fc-9e62-4aae-80bf-b42fa0a6d792.html)

Chris Olivier: fair enough. As far as I know he is injured thats why he has only 55% playing time. Otherwise he would be a starter and key player for Stuttgarts U19 as he is rated quite high there. For example he played a pre-season game against Sheffiled with the Bundesliga team this year.

Hellstern and Spalt: Ah that's unlucky. I thought if they turn 16 before full-release they're eligable to be in the game.
