Lexis
So about the thing where in order for a player to be home grown he has to spend 3 years at the club , between 18 and 21. If I loan him out in order to gain experience, is that still counted as being at the club?
Cougar2010
No, if you loan him out he isn't at your club.
gunner86
If you loan to a team in the same nation, they can still be home grown in Nation though, which are still helpful
CrippleKyle
I was wondering about this. If I have someone who is just 19 years old, and plays the entire season age 19, 20 and 21, will he count, or does he us have to have three years before age 21? deknegt1990
Personally I settle for grown in nation with foreign youngsters, unless they either really need the training at the club, or are good enough to have 15-20 appearances per season anyways. Else i'll just loan them out to a team in the same league, or a league below me.
BallHogging
I fall out with my youngsters because they want to go out on loan when they're about 20....telling me they think they're ready for 1st team football and are sick of their lack of chances.... I refuse them their loan because I bought them at 18 and need them to stay till they hit 21 for 'trained at club' purposes in the Champions League.
