Any ideas how to stop FM16 auto-mimizing when holidaying?

Anyone got any ideas how to stop Football Manager from minimizing when on holiday?

I am trying to test saves by holidaying whilst I go to work for a few hours, only to find that it has been minimized, thus it has only holidayed abou 2 seasons in the space of 8-9 hours.

My laptop speed is more than sufficient to holiday far quicker than that when the game has not minimized, I know this because my old (and worse laptop) could easily holiday much quicker.

I had a feeling it was to do with the notifications Windows 10 constantly gives me, but I have disabled this and my anti-virus/malware to stop these notifications, had a shower then came back to FM, once again, being minimized.

As mentioned before, I am using Windows 10 and my specs are as follows:

Nope, he only setting I ever touch is the ones to get logo/facepacks to work :/

Is it a power issue? Is the machine going into power save mode when it is left?

Running the game in Windowed mode should fix the issue.

Nope, it is left with normal power settings as it is on charge all the time so I turned power save mode off.

Running the game in Windowed mode should fix the issue.
