We have a young youthful squad, the squad will no doubt change very often and players will come and go but hopefully I can make something good here before the release of FM 15.

Pre-Season 2013/14

A poor Pre-Season, only the win against our reserves although we put up a good fight against Burnley and Stranraer.

Best Transfers:

Tony McParland

Oli Monguel

In the cups we've been drawn against Falkirk in the Challenge Cup and drawn against Cowdenbeath in the League Cup, so we'll be out of those very quickly.

Goals galore! We're going incredibly well in the cup knocking out Stirling on penalties before thrashing the always weak Fort William, we've been given another great draw in the 5th Round as we play Formartine United. In the league things seem to be starting to click with 9 goals in just 2 games!

Pre-Season 2014/15

The board tells me this at the start of the season, not that this helps though because the 3 players who were interested wanted some sort of a wage contribution.

I'm full of optimism!

Jxog6yO.png?1

Lots of friendlies, the first set gave us over £500,000 and the 2nd set were morale boosters to get over the previous losses.

A few good transfers and the first of our youth players are going on to bigger and better things, to Livingston in the league above. One thing I noticed is that all of our transfers are coming from the Scottish lower leagues, lower than the Scottish League 2.

A good show of support, broadening our horizons to another 22 people.

A much better start than I could have hoped for, I don't think the gap in quality between the Scottish lower leagues is as big as I first thought as Sterling aren't doing too badly either and they got promoted with us. Out main scorer is Tony Quinn, a man reborn, last season he scored 3 in 29, this season he's scored 5 in 6.

Some more transfers in with this guy being the pick of them all.

We have also lost YP1a to Livingston.

So we've gone from being 40-1 outsiders to 150-1 outsiders, hopefully I can finish 8th!

It started off so brightly as well...

We've lost more youth products and it's getting harder to find players as they're still coming in from the Highland/ Lowland leagues.

Huh, interesting that the club needed an injection; shouldn't it be running pretty lean because of no wage costs?

It should yes, and in fact it is, we have £3.2M in the bank, the only thing I can think of is that we're in £939K of net debt and paying off 2 loans until 2021.

Some truly great games to finish the league campaign, but now we have to go through the dreaded playoff system, a big shock was Rangers who, now with one Joey Barton in their starting 11 managed to get 0 points from their last 4 games and only won 1 of the last 8!

Well, let's try to at least appear competitive, eh?

No good transfers at all, we brought back on of our youth goalkeepers, lost a couple of youth and here are the 'best' transfers'

This season I expect relegation, it's almost inevitable already, so let's just give it our all!
