sparkysrovers
Not sure if this has been posted but when a player asks to be transfer listed - just say NO! Instead of them standing firm after you say that you want the club to match their ambitions. I got really mad when another player of mine wanted to leave after my two star CB's decided they wanted to leave ( i told them I wanted them to progress with the clubs and then threw a strop and wanted to be sold for peanuts) but the last guy - i hit No you arent leaving and he withdrew his request. I was very pleased
Nottingham Forest
I usually say I want the club to match your ambitions if they arent happy then and still want to leave I sell them for double their price or more than their value.
GioGio85
I always say no. Even if I eventually opt to transfer list the play myself I like being in control and dont like letting a player "dictate" his position.

I will always find someone betteeer or just as good.
GioGio85
Yeah theres plenty of players out there. Sometimes its nice for a player to help me make my mind up for me, as sometimes i can be very sentimental with players who are doing well
SaintToon
I only agree that they should go if they are on the last year of their contract as i'd rather get something for them then they go for nothing. My Newcastle team is Very Ambitious and I get a lot of ambitious players saying they want a new challenge etc. For me telling them you want to match their ambition works a treat. sparkysrovers
Yeah the players have a lot of time left on their contract, so they will remain at the club for the foreseeable future
robertcornell68
I've only really had this happen with players who wanted first team football and they weren't in my first team because they weren't good enough so... Can you find your own way out or do you need directions?
petey_g
If a player wants to leave I tend to let it happen as long as I think I can get their value in a transfer fee. It only ends up affecting squad harmony and results eventually so I just get rid. Often those players aren't the kinds of players I want in my team anyway.
