Bill_Shankly
Just a quick note. i hate to complain when the detail level of the game is so high and accurate. Just noticed that Chris Sutton only has 1 England cap on the game. Thanks

Bill_Shankly
My mistake then. I thought he played a few times. I remember him and Shearer being know as the SAS for Blackburn and England. Must have been more for Blackburn then lol On a side note, what does everyone think he will be like as a manager? I think he should be ok. He has played for England (even if its only once), won trophies, played for some top clubs and was a decent striker and not bad in defence. We_Are_138
You are somewhat right, Shankly, the Shearer and Sutton partnership at Blackburn was often referred to as SAS, as seen here, here, here and even here, however the Teddy Sheringham and Alan Shearer England partnership was also referred to the SAS. Chris Sutton played a number of games for the England U21 national team and made a couple of appearances in the B team, so maybe you're thinking of that. Joe7
He refused to play for the England B team once under Glenn Hoddle and was never called upon again. English football has done well to recover from that trauma.
Deadbloke
Didn't Chris Sutton have a go at the 16-year-old ref of him son's football match recently? For not giving his son a free kick or similar? Edit: Just found the link http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/2009/03/15/celtic-hero-chris-sutton-explodes-at-referee-during-son-s-match-78057-21198854/
