  1. Without knowing more details, it's difficult to say. If I had to hazard a guess, I would say that VPS were predicted to run away with the league and FF Jaro have significantly overachieved their predicted position. I don't know the league details so say it's a 20 team league, VPS are predicted to finish 1st and FF Jaro say 15th. But at the end of the season, VPS did finish top and FF Jaro finished say 3rd. The FF Jaro manager would appear to have done a significantly better job.
  2. I've always interpreted the final say as when the deal is completed, the player had agreed the move and you get the accept/cancel to confirm the loan. Your DoF/loan manager/whoever will ACCEPT a bid, but only you can CONFIRM the deal. As to why an offer from a Jamaican club has been accepted, not a clue. Maybe if you post a screenshot of the development list screen for this player, somebody might spot something?
  3. Not sure where to post this really? Recently brought a new laptop with a 15.summet" screen. My PC has a 27" monitor so I expected to lose some things somewhere but I've noticed that the sub's bench doesn't show on the right of the starting XI when in the tactics screen. Admittedly, it's not the most horrendously big issue I could have but I do like it being there. Is there anything I can do to 'fix' this issue? Will downloading skins (are we allowed to talk about this?) sort it out?
  4. Might look to treat myself to a laptop soon to go with my PC. Budget could be as high as £1,000, but preferably closer to £500 if possible. Current plan is to use as just a laptop for PC and light browsing (no watching Netflix or spotify or anything) so that I can play FM in the family and half-watch tv rather than hiding away in the office all night/weekend. Work situation may change if I move out next year which might mean I'd need to be able to do spreadsheet work, multiple PDFs open, internet, some form of photo viewing app (if anyone knows a current working program similar to Picasa that's also handy to know) all at the same time which may be something to bear in mind. My PC has AMD Ryzen 3600 processor, 32GB RAM and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti which probably means more to you than it does to me. I'm not too knowledgeable about the ins and outs of processors and all that, I just sent my mate the FM specs and asked him to build me a PC. I think it's quite a decent spec (?) and don't think I'd need a laptop to be at that level. I guess, being able to do a week in 20 mins for a laptop would be a reasonable expectation given I'd prefer not to spend more than I have to. What kev suggested for cgranters above looks decent and at the preferred end of the price scale but if there's something better for not much more? https://www.box.co.uk/82KD0008UK-Lenovo-V15-G2-Ryzen-7-8GB-RAM-256GB-SSD-_3614140.html Cheers in advance, it's a helluva job you guys do
  5. Depends on what you count as success really. There are no foreign player restrictions in Germany and a 99-man squad so it's very easy to get loads of wonderkids in and be able to have them available. 18 team league so fixture congestion is not as horrendous as in other leagues.. The financial power gap between Bayern and the rest of the league is quite hefty though.
  6. I took my local team from the 12th tier to the Premier League in about 14 seasons, built a new stadium after promotion to the Prem I think it was. Did they name it after a) me, the legendary manager, or b) the holding midfielder who was with us for 4/5 seasons from the conference upwards...
