liamt456
What is the best way to install this game? I have heard that it can be very slow when you install via steam so what is the best way?
CrashOverride
IMO Steam is the best way to install the game as it will autopatch the game for you. I didnt have any hastle with steam during any of my installs. Also if you loose your cd and have to reinstall the game you can download it from steam which helps! cutterschoice
Don't touch steam it's a load of rubbish, stick to the normal way.
ftg87
It's up to you really, I chose Uniloc as I like to be able to control as and when I download and install patches, also I had Steam installed on my old comp and it just seemed to take it over, really slowed down the time it took to boot up and such, so I opted against it with my new laptop
Almondo
It's personal choice TBH. If you don't want to use steam use unilock. A lot of people who don't like steam had problems installing the game at launch. Personally I used steam and had no problems.

Seal Eagle
I bought it with Steam and installed it that way, then I made a shortcut of the fm.exe file to my desktop and don't start Steam automatically with Windows.. That way I can just start Steam if I want to download the game (to install) or update it (when an update is released), but normally I just start the shortcut and no problems there
