Just wondering How much you sold players for. I've got somebody who is committed to leaving, is 22 and valued at 5 million. What should i b asking for, I assume about four times value?

Depends on the player and situation, but I wouldn't expect 4 times the value. Maybe 2 times if he is an exceptional player and if the big clubs are interested.

If nobody is interested him in right now, you could probably sell him for even money over 24 months by transfer listing him, but I would say hang on to him and play him. Try and sign him to a long term deal as well or else his value will decrease as he gets closer to the contract expiry.

Re-negotiate the contract and put in a big release clause say 15-20 million and if he turns out good then the big teams should come in with an offer close to your release clause.

Thing is though, i don't want to sell him, but he wants to leave. I was wondering what i should hold out for (e.g. what the AI will accept), bearing in mind that whenever I want to sign a player I have to regularly pay 4-6 times the players value.

Id say about £10m - £15m.
