View only vs Playable

I know i cant play the league on view only, but what is the benefit of it?

If i select Portugal and put it on view only before seting up my game, will i still see every single club in portugal and players?

even if i can see them, will in 10 years time new regens would take place?

For one, league games are still played and generated by the ME, and not simulated as in unselected leagues.

hmmm... selecting view only instead of playable does not help me making the game run faster i believe.. am i right?

I don't think you do get all the players from a view only league. I started a playable game in England with view only leagues in Brazil, USA and Australia in the hope that it would include more players from those continents like it does if you select Australia as playable it includes much more asian players. However, I got a few more players from the view only leagues especially Brazil but nowhere near the full amount so I am also wondering what the point is or view only leagues

I think you're right, as you can only view highlights of matches that have been played in full detail. So the ME is only used when full detail is selected.
