chancer78
Have seen alot of people mention it next to players names. What does it mean
chopper99
A regen is a fictional player generated as a youngster by the game. A whoe bunch of them are generated every season and they all have varying current and potential abilities. This is so that the number of players does not decrease as real players retire. BuryBlade
You can search for them at the end of the season, sometimes focussing on a player who has retired and finding the regen for that player who in theory will have the same potential as the original iirc

Mike7077
Regens are in fact not regens. Newgens seems more accurate these days. They are newly generated players. Regens were players who replaced retiring players. They had the same potential, as has already been mentioned, but a different name. Thankfully, it's not done that way anymore. CrashOverride
Nope they normally come up through youth acadamies of active leauges and randomlly apear about 20-21 for non active leagues but are no longer guarenteed as replacments for retiring players.
