Ediocy
Hehe, I would probably do the opposite actually! That is, I would not call up my important players for useless international friendlies and risk injuries and burn outs.
Vicko420
I usually give my 1st team players a 45 min instruction, decreasses the chance of injuries, but they still get enough game.

Vicko420
yeah, but normally you'd like for your under 21 y.o. to have full games as often as possible, that is while you're not still using them in your 1st team plans
elgreenio
definitely, especially if you've got games against the likes of san marino and andorra
Ginger
Sell a player who is poor from your club side who is that nationallity. (ie an english youngster when managing england). The ensure he has an international caps clause written in the deal and then call him up! Thats big money for your club!! It also cheating, but can gain you massive cash!! Spleen!
I tend to only play the players from my club when absolutely necessary, especially if I've got an important club game the following week.
KnightedManager
I always drop players from teams I don't like. No international recognition for those B**tards!! Haha!

Ediocy
how is it cheating ? They know what they are signing up to. Well, I would not really label it as cheating. Even then you would be exploiting the poor AI manager's limited intellectual grasp. So no, they do not actually know what they are signing up to. dufcterror
I became Argentina manager to sign Messi (it worked). There was also a game where I played the 2 Liverpool players for the full 90 because I had them next, 3 days later...
Ginger
how is it cheating ? They know what they are signing up to. Well, I was adding in clauses of £30m for 1 appearance then once sold calling them up. if it was a lower league side they would pay and be plunged into millions of £s debt. Not fair or realistic!!
