Home sick

I've got a player who's homesick at the moment but i can't release player so he can get back to his home town?! I could do this on fm08 but can't do this on fm09.

any ideas guys?

Try offering him out on loan or send him to a feeder club if you got one.

haha i can't! it won't let me, really want him to settle in. There use to be a function where you could give him a few weeks rest but can't see this function on fm09

Sign 1 or 2 players that are the same Nationality as him. This will make him more settled. Ask him for a recommendation of a player of staff. Sign them and this will make the bond between yourselves stronger, and he will become settled.

i tend to get the player a few whores to hang around with ... this is made alot easier if you are a Liverpool based team as 99.8 % of the woman there are a whores… the player gets a bit of the old in out and they are happy ... until they Contract syphilis! (this trick worked when Rooney moved from Everton to Man Utd if you remember)
