mewing
Hello everyone. One of the main reason i bought this game was because of the new 3D match engine. My system specs are way way above the recommended specs for the game. I have a graphics card that easily runs the newest game Nvidia Quadro 3600 FX, but no matter how low i turn the quality settings in FM its horribly jerky and the CPU goes to 100% after a couple of minutes. I run Crysis with max settings and i never go above 50%. I assume that this is not a hardware issue, but probably a compatability issue or coding thing. I'm no expert, but it seems strange that I should be unable to run this pretty simple 3D match engine. What I hope to get out of this thread is good advice for what I can do or a official response from SI that they are looking into this. Hope this is not too unreasonable. Cheers
backpackant
This happened with mine too - on the demo anyway. Trawling the tech issue stickies helped me eventually. Unfortunately there is no quick fix unless the patch fixes it.
Jonfun1980
I had that on my old pc.
Mike7077
I bought a new laptop and I have to admit I've not had any jerkiness with the match engine.
craigy18181
i get no jerkiness, try turning off stadia and sky in the preferences to see if that helps any. don't run any other crap on your pc at the same time.
mewing
I'm not running anything, I have tried to turn everything off... And this is the first time ever that this happend. Normally I run very graphic demanding games... So I'm very confused. But thanks for the advice anyway.
steviejay
I think it's down to the computer it's run on. It's jerky to the point of annoying on my laptop but my desktop only has 1 gig ram (as well as a better graphics card) so I'll need to wait to upgrade my RAM to check to see if it's any better
Sussex Hammer
I've just played my first friendly and watched key highlights. To start with the game was going on but my players were stuck at kick off, once it gets going it's ok. I have a top end PC. Could it be watching Key Highlights that produces the pause?? rankin17
yeh mine varies between jerkiness and smooth play, not sure why, the laptop can definitely handle the graphics, other top games run perfectly. have noticed it happens when i alt tab out of the game? anyone else get that? But the patched full game runs like a dream - have you installed the patch?
