killiekev1869
playing against Arsenal, Adebayor out jumps my CD twice to score goals and then a third time to hit the bar from corner. not even five minutes later the commentary informs me that my CD is "winning everything in the air today". is it just trying to rub salt into my wounds (i was Spurs)? it did make me laugh though and i've decided that SI must have programmed a "sarcastic commentator" variable into the game! son_of_sosidge
"Winning everything in the air" comes after the player has won ten headers - but doesn't take into account how many they have attempted, pretty meaningless bit of text.
smithers08
Whenever the commentator says my CB is winning everything in the air today , the oppostion always end up beating him to the next header and scoring .
Bodis
Lol yeah, I tend to get those comments at inopportune times as well. "Player X is winning everything in the air" - Yeah great thanks, but I'm down 5-0 so it doesn't really make me feel any better!
smithers08
Should say Player x is having a stinker

Nomis07
I ignore the commentary most of the time. I've lost count of the amount of times i've been sat there shocked at how bad my team have been in the second half yet the commentary says their performance was a joy to behold
