Neji
If you're managing big teams, then don't. Drop down the leagues and try out a smaller club.
saulty2805
Watch some football or go talk to a m8 about how they are getting on etc. Especially if they are doing well.
RicFuller
Hmm hard to say, the same usually happens to me if i try starting all over again after playing for a while. But in my case i only seem to make it through pre-season and quit at once. But on my FM08 version there have been no problems or crashes so i've pretty much only played the same save game with AC Milan. I was tired of it for a while, from the end of December to about mid March i didn't play it at all, so i played another game quite intensely instead (Silkroad) boy that game sucks when you play it for a while. Anyway i got extremely bored with that and jumped back to FM! And then it was just as(maybe even more) fun as when the game came out^^. So that might bee something to try, but it might not work for everyone. Im in the season 29/30 now, all seasons with Milan + 5 seasons with Italy. And im gonna be playing the game until the new game comes, so this strategy worked for me:)

FM_returner
My suggestion would be to try starting a game in a nation you don't normally use. Brazil has an interesting league setup.
